Summary: I purchased this equipment March 2014 - so in 9 months it has become my worst enemy - today I finally found what I want to replace it with so this is going back Sunday. It all started when it arrived and I had misread about the "duplex" printing. Yes there is a setting but it is MANUAL DUPLEX which means you have to turn the paper over yourself to print on the back. Be sure you are ok with that.
Cons: poor quality printing - color and black and white undependable wi-fi printing
Excerpt: This is an excellent all in one printer for high volume family or home office use. I decided to move to this product after the high cost of ink jet cartridges and the constant refilling. So far I have found this to be an excellent all in one unit. It's great for scanning and high volume printing, particularly in color. It scan to email which is a great function and the document feeder makes it easy to do multiple pages.
Excerpt: I really like the printer. It seems to be generate goI'd quality prints and is reasonably easy to use. I did run into one problem in that the touch screen on the printer does not seem to be entirely accurate. This may be parralax issues but I annotate certain. This led to accidental return to default condition and some difficulties were encountered reconnecting tooth unit on the network. It required removing the device and reinstalling.
Excerpt: As an "older guy", I'm still amazed I can buy a color laser printer for under $3k, not to mention, under $300, and for the money, the color is really great, so that alone makes this a nice printer to have for home or small office. But it is slow. Send a document. wait. get some coffee, then get your document. Scan to email? Wait 2-3 minutes for it to find your SMTP server before doing the scanning. And it's not quiet.
Excerpt: I work out my home and use a color printer for advertising material. I was using an ink jet printer and replacing the cartridges about one a week. Even though the toner cartridges (reman) are around 2 1/2 times the cost of new ink cartridges, I only have to replace them every 4-6 weeks depending on content printed. The quality of laser print is not quit as good as the ink jet but, for my purposes I don't need photo quality print for my material.
Excerpt: Picked up this one to replace my old inkjet which kept drying up on me. The app makes this that much better because I no longer have to upload my computer to print, I just send it directly to the printer from my mobile device. I only wished this was capable of printing on both sides w/o having to re-insert the paper.
