Good price but challenging to use

Philly Mom, Staples
21 February 2015
  • Excerpt: The printer gives a quality product but is challenging to use for anything other than 8.5 X 11 paper. There is no place to feed envelopes or an odd size paper if needed. The speed leaves a lot to be desired. What you gain by being able to print in color, you lose in productivity. The set up for wireless printing was difficult but once we finally got it working proved to be worthwhile.

Great Printer

HPLaserJet Pro 200 All-in-one Color Prin, Staples
19 February 2015
  • Excerpt: I can't believe I finally have a new Printer, although I had a 20 year love affair with my HP 1100A. I can do anything with this new one except print my own money. I have no desire to attempt that. I am not fond of black and white stripes nor orange jumpsuits and flip flops. LOL. Seriously, from what I have seen so far, I will be extremely happy. My only con about this is the size. It takes a lot of space.....really too much for a home office.

  • Excerpt: This printer is a top of the line that does everything. I have wanted one with all the great features for over 25 years. So, I decided to get it. It was costly ....even on sale, but I am very happy with it.. I have not used it much yet because I have only had it less than 2 weeks. I am sure it will meet all my desires. The only con to this. It takes a lot of space.

  • Summary: So I've been a pro copier tech for some time now. Worked with production machines ~$100k to $500 bw printers. I bought this HP for my home office. Print maybe 200-500 pages a month. • Summary: Be sure to read the update at the end! Important Firmware Update Available. The HP LaserJet Pro 200 is pretty much the market competitor to the . I have experience with both and I hope this comparison review will be helpful. For those who just want the bottom line: both are capable small workgroup printers. You get faster printing and more capability with the and based just toner price-per-page using brand-name toner the Brother is a lot less expensive over the long run.

Not bad. Could be much better.

rich, Staples
13 February 2015
  • Excerpt: We installed this on a network of mainly Linux computers. Usually an easy task for HP printers. It took the better part of a day for the simple chore of getting the printer to respond properly (to ping, for example) on the ethernet port. We still have occasional freeze-ups of the built-in control panel, when it will refuse to respond to any "button" pressing.
