Summary: I have bought total of 6 HP M2727 over last few years. 3 of them were broken just past 1 year with very moderate use. All the broken ones were due to the power unit. I took them to the HP service unit for repair but they state the power unit replacement would cost more than the new machine.
Summary: After reading many of the reviews for the HP m272nf MFP Laserjet Printer, I thought it was important to get a review that is strongly in favor of this printer. I have had this printer for about 3 years now. The one I bought was a display model and I was a little leery about getting it, knowing that it had been used for who knows how long before I came along. After all was said and done, I was able to purchase it for $120 bucks! I just couldn't pass it up.
Summary: We use this printer for a small business and have had it for about 4 years. The printer is great, fast, nice quality prints, etc. The rest of the package is mediocre at best. The document feeder was always a little touchy and stopped working altogether 2-3 years ago (the feeder wheels spin, but won't grab anything). The HP software reminds me of having a virus. It is slow and frustrating to use.
Summary: I've had my MF2727 nf since 2009. It's been trouble-free for me until the last 3 months or so. It works fine with my Win7 32-bit computer but the software didn't install correctly for my 64-bit Win7 laptop but it was good enough. But then about 3 months or so ago, it started being a bit flaky. I could get it to work correctly by powering down and up again. But now it doesn't do that even. It fails to initialize most of the time.
Summary: Had this unit for about 6 months. After about 4 months the ADF started jamming during document feeds. Also got some other scanner error, which I don't remember, but was able to correct. Finally today after 6 months, I started getting a scanner error code 5. Took it to an authorized HP repair shop. They opened a case with HP, who reported this is a common issue with this model. I was offered the choice of a repair; direct replacement; or a new model M1536.
