Summary: I just love this printer fax/scanner, I wish they still would make the same Model in light gray, this is the same second HP laser printer I bought I hate black printers it is very hard to make out the Numbers. and writing on them.
Summary: When I first started using this printer, it worked pretty well. The installation was tougher than other printers, but we got them set up. After about 2 years it started acting up and had trouble connecting to my computers through the network. Finally one day it stopped completely.
Summary: We have had 2 of this exact model prior to this one that were purchased NEW. We loved it. We miss it sooooo much It ran all day faxing and printing and it was a beast!! Lasted over 2 years also. But even though the model is discontinued now, to purchase new was $600.00.
Summary: I run two of these at my office. I scan and print and they are wonderful. I've moved to "faxing through my email" so I don't use the Laserjet for that function. I surely enjoy it and it has been a workhorse for many years. Thanks HP!
Summary: The printer worked for more than 2 years--until it stopped, but the fax was sporadic. the scanner was complicated, and each time they took me through customer support I was introduced to a new set of instructions to create a scan, and too many options as to how to place it in a file or be named.
Summary: Got this printer for $10 AS-IS with the note that it freezes after a print job. Installed it while writing this. Hey, there is a "new" firmware out which can be downloaded from HP, the driver suite will also get it automatically during install.
Summary: I have owned this printer for over four years and have never had any issues with it except for the occasional paper jams. I realize there are a lot of negative reviews but as far as I'm concerned this printer is flawless.
Summary: I don't know what has happened to HP. They used to make well rounded good products. Now they make disposable half-assed products. This one is great as a multifunction printer/scanner/fax if you leave it on your desk.
