Terrific product, great quality and the price could NOT be beat!

Summary: What a fantastic home All in One Color Laser Printer! We paid under $150 and we picked it up, as it was local. The price can't be beat for our home based small business needs. Printing quality both B&W & Color is excellent. Speed for the B&W is great! Speed for the Color is slow, however for us it's fine. I have tried printing on fabric, heavy card-stock, vellum, my handmade paper, photo paper, even some lightweight vinyl and ALL printed out with excellent results.
I have been very satisfied with HP Color Laserjet CM 1312 NFI

Excerpt: I have been very pleased with the HP Color Laserjet CM 1312 printer. I have had it for at least 2 years and have not any problems with it. I recently purchased a new Asus computer and upgraded to Windows 2010 and everything is compatable with it.
Excerpt: Last month, the Hewlett Packard Laserjet 1200 series printer I'd had for twenty some years and taken all over the country, shipped overseas, used continually, was finally relegated to the back closet. The replacement drums were becomming scarce, and the duct tape that held the side casing on wasn't making that great a professional impression, people staring at it in our home office.
The HP Color Laserjet CM1312NFI Printer is the ultimate printer.

Excerpt: The HP Color Laserjet CM1312NFI Printer is the ultimate printer. I am a commercial writer and design very high-end promotional literature, marketing pieces, investment proposals, and documents of all kinds. The finished product must be perfect. This precision requires the extra quality that only high quality color laser printers can provide. I started using HP Color Lasers in 2000 when they were huge and cost over $5,000.00.
Excerpt: I found this printer to be an excellent bargain for the product you get. Photo qualty prints, excellent scan quality, easy to use. The toner cartridges were not cheap but also were not unduly expensive, I purchased back ups one at a time. Printed well on standard paper, photo paper, cardstock, and to do Tshirt decals. Document feeder was a serious time saver when faxing or copying packets of information.
Summary: The CM1312nfi is a good choice for a home office. I use the machine for proposals and reports and it does everything I need done at relatively small production volumes. The scan and fax functions are something I need infrequently, but it is nice to be able to do both from home.
Pros: Print quality decent ... would fit the job for a SOHO environment if the dam drivers would work.
Cons: Software is bloated and doesn't even work. Didn't realize how bad it was till I tried to find an update online and found all the other complaints about the printer right on the HP support forum with no response from HP to any of the issues.
Summary: This is a good machine for the home user or small business to enter into the world of color laser printing. While keeping costs down you can have the convenience of an All in one machine combined with color laser outputs. Who could ask for more.
