Summary: Though the device was sold as used, it arrived in good shape. When you buy used devices, best stick to brand names. In this case, printers can be very abused, but with this HP Brand, chances are that the device is sturdy and can with stand a lot of usage. It was a great buy for the price.
Summary: I've had this printer for about 5 years. It has been fantastic. I really never write reviews, but I've been researching a new color laser printer and have seen a number of 1 star reviews. This printer is a five star printer in my opinion. It has never let me down and has worked on each and every computer I've owned including my Mac. I've keep the original install disk and so reinstalling drivers have been a snap.
Summary: This is my second one of these printers. The other one I had lasted two years and then it just stop printing. But I liked this printer so much that I got another one. I would like to give this a five star, but I'm just not sure how long this will last.
Summary: I took my machine out of the box, plugged it in and all was well - it managed to print, copy and scan 1 or 2 page documents. But the moment I started using the Automatic Document Feeder, nothing worked as advertised. ANY document of more than 5 pages or so would, NINE times out of ten, freeze the scanner or jam the paper. Either way, you will need to power off and back on and start again because the scanner will remain "busy" and unusable until you do.
Terrific product, great quality and the price could NOT be beat!

Summary: What a fantastic home All in One Color Laser Printer! We paid under $150 and we picked it up, as it was local. The price can't be beat for our home based small business needs. Printing quality both B&W & Color is excellent. Speed for the B&W is great! Speed for the Color is slow, however for us it's fine. I have tried printing on fabric, heavy card-stock, vellum, my handmade paper, photo paper, even some lightweight vinyl and ALL printed out with excellent results.
Summary: I am sitting here waiting for this stupid thing to "Initialize" and getting less and less impressed with it's quality. I usually love HP printers, but this one is a temperamental piece of garbage.
Summary: I'm sad to say this product and HP support have made me question ever purchasing an HP product again. The software is mediocre at best. The scanner interface is very bare-bones - nothing but a dialog box (at least on Vista and Windows 7, that seems to take an eternity to open. But that's a minor quibble. As for the printer, I don't print very often, but after a year or so I had managed to use up the starter cartridges it came with.
