Summary: We had this fax machine in the past and really loved it so we wanted to get another and the price was great. The new fax is working well and it was very timely send out. We also liked how well packaged it was and also that they gave us so much information.
AOK under linux, works perfectly, even the scanner
4 April 2014
Summary: I am not using it in windows, last I looked there was no satisfactory win driver that would also support the scanner. WELL HERE COMES LINUX!!!! Install it under cups and EVERYTHING works. Thanks to HP also, they wrote a better driver for linux than for windows.
Summary: I got my HP LaserJet 3030 in several days. My computer man set it up for me and it's been working great. I like the HP 3030 better than the new HP LaserJet M1212nf MFP I bought. The toner cartridge is larger and prints several hundred more copies.
The best of all monochrome small business printers.
30 July 2012
Summary: For a small business like ours that does minor printing, we have a unit just like this one since 2006 and it is still working without a problem. One of the most reliable units that HP had made.
Summary: This is a great MFP for Windows XP, but HP stopped supporting this device after that. After a recent upgrade to Windows 7, I have lost all the functionality besides printing. Scanning won't work and new drivers for Windows 7 have not been made available by HP.
Summary: This is my second 3030. I purchased this one used, and was initially upset to find the tip tray missing. However, the seller made it up to me by sending out another try right away. It works as well as my last one.
Summary: I wasnt expecting that from a top rated seller, the printer came with no trays or anything & when asked, i was reffered to a fine print in the add, which should have been in BOLD that it doesnt have trays. also the way i was reffered to that was unacceptable.
Summary: HP makes a nice all around unit in the 3030. I have deployed many of them in a business environment over the past few years, and had very few problems. Too many people expect an all in one to do everything well, that is not their purpose in life; instead they are intended to do many things well.
