Excerpt: The HP Envy printer is terrific once it gets installed. The printed instructions leaves a lot to be desired but once you get over the frustration of getting the wireless option installed then it is a very good printer. The pages come out very nice and the printer itself is not too noisy. I also like the HP instant ink program. I have already received my first shipment of ink.

It prints documents with an easy double sided option, prints photos, copies, and scans document that can be stored on your computer or sent via e-mail. It is easily to set up on your I-phone or android phone or tablet besides printing with your computer wth instructions available at the Hewlet Packard website for those who need more help.
Excerpt: Getting my new ENVY 5530 set up and running was quite a challenge due to a glitch in the software. What should have taken at most a couple hours took 3 days. In fact, I ended up going to HP directly to have the problems resolved. I even was on line with a live chat person. Unfortunately, we somehow got cut off in the midst of our interchange. Shortly thereafter, I received a phone call from an HP rep who was based in India and it was impossible to understand him.
Excerpt: My old printer was quite large and stopped functioning well after the computer was upgraded to Windows 8.1. I decided to order this and requested it to be picked up from the Glen Ellyn store. Within a 2 hours I got an email to come and get it. This is a sweet little printer. The wireless was easy to get going.
Excerpt: When I first bought this printer, it worked great, I loved all the features, especially that it was wireless. I was easy to set up. I loved that you could set it up to print on both sides of the paper. After about 6 months, it started canceling printing jobs if you printed more than 2 pages, as the 3rd page would start printing, it would print 1/2 of the page then cancel itself. No matter what I did, I re-installed everything and still have issues.
Excerpt: First, my last HP printer died and so I needed a new printer. I purchaed the envy 5530 because it did everything I wanted for my home use (printing, scanning, copying) and because it used the same HP print cartridges as my old printer (61's). Sort of!Installation was quick and easy.First problem was I wanted to reuse the old printers style 61 b/w and color ink cartridges. Nope. The printer said they were an old, out of date style.
