Excerpt: I bought this because it was by far the sturdiest looking/feeling printer at the store. It was easy to set up and my kids thought the flip up screen was pretty cool. I have to print large documents and I purchased this printer largely for the 2-sided printing capabilities. Turns out, this was a waste. After printing just a few double sided pages, it gets a paper jam. In fact, it now frequently gets paper jams. Further, it holds a fairly small amount of paper.
Summary: The only reason I gave this printer 3 stars is because when it works it works well. I purchased this printer one year ago and in that year I have had 5 replacements. The first replacement (new) was after only 3 weeks because the scanner stopped working. The second replacement (reconditioned) was after 9 months because the display stopped working in the down position.
Summary: Bought it as it is so good looking it does not need to be hidden. scanner/copier always trouble or simply not working. On 3rd unit and now the entire thing is not working. I still love the way it looks...
Summary: I've owned this printer for nearly a year, I believe, and for a very long while it functioned flawlessly. At some point Apple made some OS changes that I accepted for my iMac, and this printer started becoming essentially invisible to my iMac as a networked printer. It was still the default printer, and existed as the only printer/scanner in my settings, but the print jobs just wouldn't go across, and the printer would show as "not connected" on the print queue.
Summary: This is my 2nd HP Envy 120 e-All-In-One printer. I love the solid construction and printing capabilities. I does everything I need for a home office, however the scanner stopped functioning after only 14 months. The scanner started scanning all black pages or pages that were black with colored stripes. I found a remedy online, but it only worked a couple of times. I found that others also had the same problem.
