Reviews and Problems with HP 120e All-in-One Printer

terrible waste of money
Summary: This printer is pretty awful. I print about a dozen things a year (event tickets, coupons, etc). First, the color had trouble reaching the paper, gradually getting worse to what looked like none of the the contacts even reaching the paper. I jumped through HP's phone support hoops and got a refurb from HP which was just as bad. I figured they went cheap on the cartridges they sent with the refurb so i went and bought new HP cartridges.
Summary: My printer was rarely used and started printing with streaks and smudges after 1 year. I tried all the troubleshoot options: align, clean nozzle, new ink, etc. I called HP Support and the smug bastard on the phone said the service phone call will cost $30 but he will "let it slide" because I'd never called before. After going through the troubleshoot options (again), he determined my printer broken, out of warranty and not able to be repaired.
Summary: I've owned two HP Envy printers--the 100 and the 120. The 100 had its display fail within 18 months and the 120 had its scan function fail within a year. Will not be purchasing HP products again.
Summary: Bad beyond belief. Problems from Day 1. Scanner doesn't work, and no matter what I try, no matter what advice I take, the scans are just completely blank. The printing is average, but I would be able to cope with that if the scanner worked. Trash. Taking it back to John Lewis. Will never buy HP trash again.
Beautiful printer. Too bad it malfunctions constantly

Summary: Beautiful printer. Too bad it malfunctions constantly. Too bad HP doesn't honor their 1 year warranty. I had the printer for 4 months and used it only a few times a month. It often would print very faintly although the print test page came out fine. It then started printing only pale blue. Finally, it would not print at all when documents were sent to it, although the test page printed fine.
The product is poor quality and the customer service is even lower

Summary: Wish I could give it ZERO stars! Did not even last one year with very light usage! The damn touch screen went black today and if you contact HP, they suggest that you download an update and then "USE THE TOUCHSCREEN" to install it. Haha I can fix it using the broken part??? Really? Will no longer be purchasing anything HP. I suggest that you dont either! The product is poor quality and the customer service is even lower!!!
Summary: This is by far the worse printer I've ever had. My printer from 1999 was more efficient than this one. As a college student who is constantly needing to use this printer, I can seriously say that printing a paper might take longer than actually writing one. It is always getting jammed and takes awhile to print. It's way more of a headache than what's it worth. Don't believe the good reviews. They're lying. This printer is terrible. Take your money elsewhere.
Summary: I've had this printer for about 6 months now and absolutely hate it. Printing: After less than a month of use the printer began jamming up on EVERY print job, creating a big mess inside the printer that is difficult to clean up. Technical support had me unplug the power cord and remove it from the printer for 3 minutes, then power up and try again. Incredibly, this fixed the jamming problem... for a while. One week later the jams started anew.
Summary: Purchased this HP printer in January of 2014 and it died in November of 2014. The glass is nice but don't see the beauty that everyone else was raving about. I think silver or white color would be shaper look. Didn't have issues with paper jams like some other printers but had issues with scanning and it constantly dropped off my Comcast wireless network for a few months before it died.
