Summary: I bought this printer because of the good price point and the attractive, sleek aesthetics. What a mistake! It has been a source of constant frustration as it is impossible to make copies with any consistency as the paper is constantly jamming which requires major surgery each time you attempt to print. After tonight I finally gave up and ordered a new Brother printer, it was the only thing that kept me from picking up the HP piece of junk and slamming it to the floor.
Summary: What a huge disappointment and total waste of my hard-earned money. I loved this thing when I first got it. Really loved it. But after one year of extremely light use, just printing out a few things every once in awhile, this thing stopped working. I wasted many hours and days trying to fix it ... HP website was useless to me because NOTHING helped. Not sure if I'm more upset over the waste of money or the waste of time and energy trying to fix it.
Terrible print quality and loses signal to the iPad

Summary: I would have thought buying a higher end series printer from HP that it was a no brainier in terms of print quality and build quality, boy was I ever wrong. The build quality is decent but not great. The print quality (the real reason you buy a printer) is beyond bad. I have used new inks and get banding and terrible colors in my photos. I have updated drivers, swapped inks, called HP and all of this solved nothing.
Summary: Ordered this POS and it lasted 15 days. Worked fine up until then. Now it will not copy, scan or print. Called customer service at HP and the first thing they said was that we were out of warranty by 186 days. We only had it for 2 weeks; how could that be? Finally he corrected himself and we spent over 3 hours on the phone with him trying all kinds of things trying to make it start working again which it did not.
Summary: I purchased a HP Envy 114 D411c series printer in August 2012 . It does go through the ink cartridges very quickly. In that year I have printed a total of 1136 pages. The printer is now broken, out of warranty, and shows an error message entitled, "Problem Moving Extender". After going through all of HP's troubleshooting steps to no avail, my search for a solution online confirmed it is not repairable and must be replaced. Do not buy this printer!
Summary: It's compact and sleek looking. The display panel is touch screen and flips up to various angles for easy reach and reading. When you print, the display screen goes up automatically, the paper catcher swings out, and the paper comes out. When you take the paper off the printer, it all closes back up again. Unfortunately, it was a bit quirky to set up (ended up having to disconnect it from the network and reconnect it a couple times to get any computer to see it).
Summary: BEWARE OF UNETHICAL, ILLEGAL HP PRACTICES. I purchased an HP Photosmart C6280 printer 6 years ago for $230. I selected that high-end, expensive model printer because it had the automatic duplex (2-sided) printing feature. After about 3-4 years, HP began to force updating the printer software utility over the internet without my consent. The weekly practice became a real nuisance and added no noticeable benefit.
Summary: Bought in July, worked great for a few months. Now will not print correctly. After two hours on phone with HP Support, they agreed it was broken and sent me a "new refurbished" printer, 110 instead of 114. Immediately it did the same thing with the extra large HP black cartridge, so I tried with the standard size and it worked for a week or so. Now this printer is doing the SAME thing. I am through with HP. Always loved their products but no more.
