Beautiful but ultimately flawed machine

Summary: After 3years of working properly, the scanner and the copier functions ceased to work. The internet is littered w/ examples of this happening to other owners of the Envy. In my case I was still able to use the printer function, so I am giving it 3 stars. It was a fairly pricey machine and it's disappointing that the manufacturer doesn't stand by it beyond the one year warranty.
Pros: Slim, sleek, lots of potential. Loved the eprint function as well as the ability to email the printer from afar and have it print. That came in handy.
Cons: Scanner and copier function broke down and HPs only solution was to buy a new printer.
Summary: Look for something else. Seriously. I cannot be more clear than that.
Pros: None that I can think of...
Cons: Wireless is useless - it simply does not work. That applies to my first one and the replacement that HP sent me. , Jams fairly common., Very temperamental and needs too much attention for the amount of work it gets done - i.e. VERY high maintenance.
Single worst piece of equipment I've ever dealt with.

Summary: The only thing to "envy" here is someone who bought a different machine. This thing is a steaming lump of crap. HP you should be ashamed of yourselves.
Pros: None. The first one I bought died when it was plugged in. Fine, I exchanged it. The new one just gives errors, such as "To access the paper tray, remove anything that might be in the way" There is nothing in the way.
Cons: Everything. DO NOT BUY THIS PIECE OF GARBAGE! HP tried to make something slick and ended up with something that clearly doesn't work well. I have to go return the second one, what a waste of time.
Really Nice Printer but will not stay connected WIFI.

Summary: I've had this printer for over a year and just finally set down to try and figure out why it hardly ever available when I want to print from my iPad or iPhone. I searched the web and never found the answer, just lot of time spent re-configuring everything under the sun.
Pros: Great Style, looks great setting out in the Family Room., Wireless (when connected), AirPrint (when connected), ePrint (when connected)
Cons: Very limited paper tray, Drops the wireless connection constantly and will not reconnect without human intervention., Touch panel really fails to work appropriately.
Summary: Best product from HP yet! Easy set up and perfect for everyday use at home, I love being able to print from my ipad also. Very professional looking and easy operation. Great apps to use at home or anywhere. Highly recommended.
If you want a sexy, reliable, solid wireless printer for iPads and more buy

Summary: This HP Envy printer is the sexiest printer i've every owned. Looks great in my lounge / computer room. It prints fast enough for me an the family, works with all the computer wirelessly through out the house and with my iPad and touch. The only concern would be the mechanical door, it opens and closes so even though it looks sturdy right now, wonder how it will work in six months of opening and closing.
Summary: I have an iPad 2 and wanted a wireless printer. This printer was affordable and I really like the double-sided printing without taking the papers and flipping them over each time. I don't think this printer has a function to decrease the intensity of the ink. The colors are very rich and printing is quite fast!
Summary: Ease of use and setup was exceptionally strong. Slim form factor and styling is a good consideration. Print quality is good for a low-volume personal printer. Print speed is not fast. Interface with iPad is great. Works smoothly. Consumes print cartridges quickly. Suggest getting the extend life cartridges..
