Summary: Seriously, I've tried off and on for a year to get this thing to work. Haven't had time to fool with it. Finally giving up. Can NOT get software, drivers to load properly. I go around and around. Never have gotten it to scan. Waste of landfill space. Remember the good-old-days when HP made the BEST deskjets? Will not be buying HP again. I would give it a zero if Amazon would let me.
Summary: I don't understand how such a faulty product made it to market. At one point I was beginning to think it was possessed. Here's a list of the issues: -Forget about the "Wireless" feature. Just forget about it. -Prints a "scan instructions" page every single time after being unplugged. Resulting in a loss of ink and paper. You can press the X button to cancel before anything prints, but it's annoying nonetheless. -Copies, but won't scan.
I am pleased with this merchandise. Great value for the money.

Summary: The merchandise was packed with care, no damage found on printer and operating perfectly from day one. Printer software needed to be downloaded on PC. Printer operating error and maintenance free. I purchased this printer to replace the current printer which needs repair. This printer uses the same ink cartridges as the old printer.
Summary: I got this for a gift from my son. I thought it was the greatest thing ever, for the first week. Then it started that I had to keep re-installing the drivers. sometimes it would work. after 3 weeks of this, I gave up. It would print if connected to the usb, then it stopped even doing that. I called HP who refused to help me unless I paid them $39. Or they would sell me a printer "guaranteed to work". Oh?? why isn't this one guaranteed to work??
Summary: Worst printer my family has ever owned. Constantly breaks down and will not print wirelessly, recognize the USB cable, and the support software doesn't identify problems. Tried a clean re-intstall of drivers and still will not work. This is the absolute worst printer in existence, will NOT print about 90% of the time. Stay far, far away!

Excerpt: I purchased this product and was very pleased with the look, quality and weight for the priced that I paid. I initially had a hard time setting the printer up but that was not the manufacturers fault. I had a driver conflict issue that was causing me to blue screen. After a little messing around I finally came to the conclusion that I would format the computer and do a fresh install of windows. The product installed like a charm after that and I have never been as...
The HP F4580 All-In-One Inkjet printer is an absolute lifesaver
9 September 2012
Excerpt: I have a HP laptop, and my first printer that I bought was a basic Hp 6100 printer. Browsing through a sales paper one day I saw the HP F4580 all-in-one and for the price I just had to get one. So 2 mths. later after purchasing my first printer I bought the all-in-one. That was the smartest purchase that I have made ever. An absolute great investment. It does everything except fax. But for the task that I do, it couldn't be better.
HP DeskJet 4580 is a great All-In-One for at home or the office.

Excerpt: Our old printer died about 2 weeks ago. It was also an HP and we had it forever without any complaints. So after a little research we decided to go with another HP. We found this one on sale at Walmart for $69 - a great price! It also has wireless capabilities which I was thrilled about since I now have a laptop. It also copies and scans. Installation went very smoothly and even setting up the wireless went very well - and I am no computer tech. I did not like all...
