Excerpt: its a printer that prints in pure black and white instead of grayscale, which was wasting alot of ink in my old printer, which is saving me tons of money. also the color printing is very bold and vibrant, the printer is quite quiet and very easy to set up, there is also a on screen error monitor to let you know of errors with the printer and how to fix these issues.
Excerpt: So it works pretty well but has a few draw backs. Drawbacks first: 3.The software it comes with and i loaded on my computer can be very annoying. It pops up an ink low message like eight-teen times a day. GEts prettuy annoying after a while. However, overall I like. Scans fast. Copies fast. Prints pretty fast and sort of quietly. Cannot be perfect in everyway but I paid like 30 bucks for it can can't complain.
The ink is too expensive and that's always the case

Excerpt: Who can afford a printer anymore? Actually, printers you can come by very cheap but it's the ink I can't afford. Honestly it's cheaper to buy a new printer every time you run out of ink. This is a decent printer. I never used all of the features on it but the scanner works very efficiently and I've never had a problem using it as I have had problems on other all in one printers. Printing quality could be better.
Good solid printer but not great if you print a lot

Excerpt: I use this printer mostly for printing off coupons and recipes and while I like the printer for what I use it for it suits my needs just fine I seem to go through a lot of ink. This printer is very reasonably priced especially considering it copies and scans but I think they make up their money and then some through the cost of their ink.
THe HP F4480 all in one printer works out great for my family.

Excerpt: I'm writing about the Hewlett Packard F4480 All in One Inkjet Printer. We just recently perchased a new Hwelett Packard Computer and wanted a printer to go with it. We chose the Hewlett Packard All in One inkjet because it had all the features that we were looking for in a printer. We were able to hook it up with ease and tie in right into our new computer without any problems. This priner lets us do copies, scan pictures or documents easily.
Summary: i love he look of the printer however i am disappointed in the fact that my ink cartriges were dried up and the the printer doesnt connect to my laptop without being able to print....hopefully after i get the ink it will work properly.
Summary: I bought this printer to duplicate another of the same model I bought for my primary music studio. I needed another one for my 2nd studio and I knew it would perform adequately. It has no slots for camera cards, but I don't need them. It's a little noisy but for me, that isn't a concern.
Summary: I bought the printer as I was able to get it cheap. I like the main features of the printer: quiet, clean, fast printing. Using the scanner is nice but too many steps involved compared to the Lexmark I had. The ink cartridges don't allow many pages to be printed and they are expensive. I would suggest buying if you are not planning on do much printing and have time to spare for scanning. I would not buy if you are going to be printing/scanning alot.
For an everyday economical printer, this is great.

Excerpt: Based on the cost of this printer, I've been extremely satisfied. (Note - I saw an estimated cost of $280, I paid much less, I think around $40 or $50, definitely under $75 on sale at Staples several years ago) It has been reliable, the ink cost isn't too bad and it is easy to work. You have to watch that it "grabs" paper sometimes, which can cause it to jam, so, just to be safe, I normally just put one sheet in at a time.
Summary: Not particulally fond of this printer. No manual included. Wouldn't buy another one or recommend purchasing one like this. Paper feed is poor and you waste a lot of paper-continually gets out of alinement.
