Features

It can produce as many as 20 pages a minute in settings for black ink and a maximum of 14 pages in color. A resolution of 1,200 x 2,400 DPI produces extremely clear pictures and documents. Scan documents up to dimensions of 8.5 x 11.7 inches, and even resize and enlarge documents scanned to fit your needs. For extra thick documents, the scanner cover is removed and replaced very easily. The HP Deskjet F4180 is fully compatible with Windows as well as Mac systems and even includes capacity of 128MB for Random Access Memory and free memory of 350MB. With a one year limited warranty from the manufacturer, this user-friendly printer will make office and home work easier.

    Solftware install takes forever, and then doesn't work.  I spent two days on the phone with HP Tech. Support (speaking to someone in India of course).  They finally determined that the CD that came with the unit was defective, so had me download and re-install from their website.  Again, it took forever.  Even aligning the heads, cleaning the print nozzles and printing a test page took FOREVER to do, and then only printed in color.  Another call to HP and they...     Despite its ONE flaw, this printer works really well. It is somewhat unfair to rate the entire product solely on its ink economy. Yes, it uses quite a bit of ink in a short space of time but nobody can complain about the quality of the prints. This device offers a good range of features, especially considering its price, and it executes its tasks flawlessly. Overall, its a good buy but I would suggest purchasing slightly more expensive XL cartridges when the time comes... Read more
