Solftware install takes forever, and then doesn't work. I spent two days on the phone with HP Tech. Support (speaking to someone in India of course). They finally determined that the CD that came with the unit was defective, so had me download and re-install from their website. Again, it took forever. Even aligning the heads, cleaning the print nozzles and printing a test page took FOREVER to do, and then only printed in color. Another call to HP and they... Read more
Despite its ONE flaw, this printer works really well. It is somewhat unfair to rate the entire product solely on its ink economy. Yes, it uses quite a bit of ink in a short space of time but nobody can complain about the quality of the prints. This device offers a good range of features, especially considering its price, and it executes its tasks flawlessly. Overall, its a good buy but I would suggest purchasing slightly more expensive XL cartridges when the time comes... Read more
