It keeps on working!
4 April 2012
Summary: Was free with Compaq laptop. Has worked well for several years. Just had to download HP 64 bit upgrade driver to get it to work with new windows 7 OS laptop. Ink usage seems typical for inkjet, but: Guys, lets try to convince someone to introduce the concept of a standardized ink efficiency scale for printers and require it be listed on every printer just like cars with gas mileage! Or cost of consumables or ink cost per 8.5X 11 sheet! Spread the word!!!
Summary: Printer arrived in excellent condition and in a timely manner. It was well-packaged (in fact, I'm almost down to the printer!!) Seriously, I am pleased. Set-up was a breeze, as I was replacing an identical printer. I appreciate the honesty and integrity of this seller and give it a "HIGH FIVE!!" Thank you.....I got a deal!!
Summary: Just finished a print job, 400 pages, plus address labels. NO paper jams at all. my previous HP Deskjet would have jammed, especially with the labels. This printer prints beautifully, it is fast even with color. But HP now packages the ink in such tiny cartridges that you WILL run out quickly. Keep a cartridge on hand, but enjoy the speed and quality of this printer.
Summary: I have been very happy with my HP F-380 All-in-one pritner. The set-up was very easy. You do need to remember to buy a USB cable since it is not included. Black and color ink cartridges were included. The printer, scanner and copier software is easy to use. The quality of the print has been very good for black & white and also color documents. I have not printed any photos, so I can't comment about the feature.
Summary: Not a bad all-in-one printer for the price. The only problem was that the instuctions were very vague when it came to finding where on my computer the photos I scanned could be found, after spending a few hours on it I finally found them. My daughter also had the same trouble when she was using the scanner.
Summary: This product would be rated "5" if it were not for the constant pop-up indicating that it is low on ink. I have two HP printers that do this -- right after changing the cartridge the pop-ups begin. HP was contacted and could not assist me in solving the problem. Aside from the low-ink pop-up, the printer/scanner/copier works great -- very good quality -- much better than our previous Lexmark. A little slow but, for the price, I would highly recommend it.
Summary: Great price, works good although it sound like it could break at any second while working and that is a little scarry, It uses way too much ink. The program is somewhat hard to figure out to set preferences for each of the modes (copy, scan, print)I still have not figured it out, but my son will when he comes over. I like it and it was very fast shipping too, I got it in about 5 days. I would recommend this printer.
Summary: I purchased this printer for the house, for personal use. It was easy to install, and functions perfectly. I do not do an abundance of photo printing with it, so I can't comment on the quality or ink usage. It is not fancy or top of the line, but it was just what I was looking for, at the right price. I would recommend this printer to anyone looking for a home printer that sees light to medium utilization.
Summary: It was difficult for me to make the change from Lexmark to another brand. However, Lexmark did not seem to be keeping up with the Microsoft changes. I am very happy with my HP Deskjet F380. Set up was extremely easy. Software loaded without any problems at all. The key with some of the older computers is to make sure you have the amount of RAM recommended by HP. The copier is freestanding which is nice.
