Excerpt: This HP Printer is a nice simple printer. It has a pretty good scanner, but the scanner can be a little slow. It prints fine. This printer is great for simple printing and scanning. The printer does not do duplex. It does make copies which is nice. Like I said this is a simple scanner printer.
Excerpt: When we got a mac and could no longer use our old printer because of compatibility, we bought this Hewlett Packard from Walmart and it seemed to do all I needed it to. For my photography business and as a homeschooling mom, I basically needed something to do lots of black and white prints, occasional copies, and not too worried about color or printing out photos. I knew it was cheap, but it was awful. The scanner worked pretty well, but the ink would run out SOOOO fast!
Excerpt: Although I am challenged when it comes to using a computer, I seem to spend an awful lot of time using my printer and copier. Thankfully that part works well even when I am not as smart at figuring out all the different functions my computer can do as I need to. I am able to go into my computer and type in letters or get recipes and print out clear copies on my printer, or if I need to make copies of crafts for my sunday school class once again, I am able to use my...
Excerpt: I bought this scanner printer for my husband, he is a farmer and he always is scanning his fields and tax papers and whatever the govt. throws at us next. When we got it home and took it out of the box we were happy with the item. We don't have a computer downstairs and we didn't need it to hook up to one. We set it up and put paper in it and stuck something under the scanner. we were a little confused at the start, but everything is confusing that is new.
Summary: The printer does not work so well. The ribbon inside the scanner is broken so it doesn't scan or copy. I am having trouble getting the allignment page to stop popping up everytime I restart the computer.
Excerpt: I have long wanted to buy a scanner and printer. Having both machines in my workstation requires ample space so I opted for a multifunction printer. My favorite computer ship does not have the brand and model that I originally wanted so I ended up with this unit. The unit is a printer, scanner and copier in one. The size is just right and it is compact. The printer is an inkjet type so there are two cartridges it carries- one for colored and one for black.
Excerpt: I bought this printer in my first term at uni, for the bargain price of £30, which I thought was pretty decent for a printer, scanner and copier. I try not to use it excessively, so I have only had to change the ink twice since November. It seems relatively economical, as you can get your old cartridges refilled at a cheaper cost than buying them new. The quality although not perfect, is fine for general documents such as essays and pictures to get your idea across.
Excerpt: "...PCWorld's website I discovered the HP DeskJet F380 - an all-in-one printer, scanner and copy machine reduced to 39,99 pounds and coming with free delivery. The decision was quickly made. When I read through the product page I came across a note saying "You will need a USB cable to operate this printer" - well great, another 10 pounds for a USB cable since this isn't included in the box content of the printer. Overall price then 49,99 which was ...
Pros: small, sharp printouts, excellent value for money
Cons: USB cable not contained in box, installation can be tricky, scanning doesn't work yet
