Summary: Every time I print something, it just stalls in a print queue. Then when I reboot the computer, it (usually) prints everything in the queue. About half the time, I have to unplug the printer and replug it in first. So any time you want to print something, you first send it to print, then unplug and replug the printer, then reboot the computer. Apparently this thing wasn't designed to work with Windows 7.
Summary: This printer is pure junk! This time I have to agree that you get what you pay for. How much are days without headaches worth? Skip this one and get a more expensive model or a different brand. I Have an HP computer and this Hp printer never worked like it should have. It has a mind of it's own and works sporadically! Print jobs get stuck in the Que and have to be cancelled.
Summary: Bought this purely because of it's size, if my daughter had more space in her student accommodation I would have chosen a three in one printer. I have owned different HP printers still do, but this one is absolutely wrong. Gives errors constantly, not recognizing genuine cartridges when they are not newly installed, printer needs to be reinstalled when failing.
Summary: The quality of this printer is so bad it is almost useless. Some documents take over 5 minutes from clicking the "print" button to the beginning of printing. It is frequently necessary to restart my computer to straighten out the messes this printer creates. Envelopes print correctly about 25% of the time. I have a 12 year old HP 895CSE printer that work that works perfectly. I guess HP really figured out how to cut costs!
Summary: I've owned this printer for 1.5 years. The actual hardware of the printer is not that great. The paper feed either jams or doesn't feed the paper around 1/2 to 2/3 of the time. So, at least half the time I try to print something, I have to get up and go fix the printer. Print quality is not too bad for an entry level printer, but print speed for color images leaves something to be desired.
Summary: This printer was completely broken from the gate. The minute I plugged it up it made a very loud noise, so I attempted to use it anyway. Then once I placed the paper in the machine and hit print, it gave me nothing but crumpled up paper jams that never made it out of the machine. Don't recommend this to anyone.
Summary: No exaggeration here. Purchased this printer brand new and had problems from the get go. Would not print 95% of the time, or would only print a portion of the document, and then freeze and do nothing. Kept trouble shooting, calling, reinstalling, checking drivers, etc. Didn't change anything. HP was not able to help either.
Summary: I have never written a review on anything, but this is so bad people should be aware of it. I have always bought HP's and never had an issue until this piece of junk. It has issues with its on/off button. I have to unplug it if I want it to turn off. While annoying, it's not nearly as bad as the fact that it only works on occassion. It often just freezes up my computer. I would rather handwrite out whatever I'm printing than ever use this printer again.
MOST HORRIBLE PRINTER EVER..DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!

Summary: HP D2660, I have only one good thing to say for it....the price! Then as the saying goes you get what you pay for, I didn't pay much and I didn't get much. It is a piece of JUNK and whens it does work, it runs through ink (I guess that's how HP makes money off such a crappy printer). I am an adult college student with middle and high school children and we do a lot of printing, or at least we try. This printer has been printing half of a page and then just stops.
Summary: Terrible printer. It's been a hassle from day one. Now after a year of limited use, I keep getting "printer head mechanism jammed" messages. It tells me to toggle the power, but even this bogus remedy only works half the time. Absolute junk.
