but low and behold i tried using it with my home PC and laptop and the problem was duplicated easily. There is something serious

Summary: My dad purchased 2 of these for a couple of PCs at work at $70 a piece for basic printing (Yikes!) thinking the price would have ment higher quality. Not only was this far from the truth, these printers have been nothing short of a constant and daily headache.
Summary: Every time I print something, it just stalls in a print queue. Then when I reboot the computer, it (usually) prints everything in the queue. About half the time, I have to unplug the printer and replug it in first.
Summary: This printer is pure junk! This time I have to agree that you get what you pay for. How much are days without headaches worth? Skip this one and get a more expensive model or a different brand. I Have an HP computer and this Hp printer never worked like it should have.
Summary: Bought this purely because of it's size, if my daughter had more space in her student accommodation I would have chosen a three in one printer. I have owned different HP printers still do, but this one is absolutely wrong.
Summary: The quality of this printer is so bad it is almost useless. Some documents take over 5 minutes from clicking the "print" button to the beginning of printing. It is frequently necessary to restart my computer to straighten out the messes this printer creates.
Summary: I've owned this printer for 1.5 years. The actual hardware of the printer is not that great. The paper feed either jams or doesn't feed the paper around 1/2 to 2/3 of the time. So, at least half the time I try to print something, I have to get up and go fix the printer.
Summary: This printer was completely broken from the gate. The minute I plugged it up it made a very loud noise, so I attempted to use it anyway. Then once I placed the paper in the machine and hit print, it gave me nothing but crumpled up paper jams that never made it out of the machine.
Summary: No exaggeration here. Purchased this printer brand new and had problems from the get go. Would not print 95% of the time, or would only print a portion of the document, and then freeze and do nothing. Kept trouble shooting, calling, reinstalling, checking drivers, etc. Didn't change anything.
Summary: I have never written a review on anything, but this is so bad people should be aware of it. I have always bought HP's and never had an issue until this piece of junk. It has issues with its on/off button. I have to unplug it if I want it to turn off.
MOST HORRIBLE PRINTER EVER..DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!

Summary: HP D2660, I have only one good thing to say for it....the price! Then as the saying goes you get what you pay for, I didn't pay much and I didn't get much. It is a piece of JUNK and whens it does work, it runs through ink (I guess that's how HP makes money off such a crappy printer).
