Summary: Loading of paper tray wasn't intuitive and resulted in multiple "paper jam" errors until paper tray pushed in completely and table surface below printer completely cleared of all debris and cords. This may be the source of many of the paper jam complaints from other reviewers.
Pros: Easy set up for wireless or wired printing. Very low price considering features. Individual Ink tanks.
Cons: Very limited printing/scanning software. Confusing paper loading and feed pathway low volume of paper storage
Summary: Considering I just needed a printer for the occasional thing I needed to print out or scan (what with everything being digital these days) it meets my needs just fine. More demanding users might have issues I haven't seen.
Pros: Works when I need it to, connects to local wi-fi so no need to run a network cable out to it (inconvenient location for that). Print quality is good for what I use it for.
Cons: A bit loud when running, drivers are a bit bloated considering I don't need half the functionality they have. HP is notorious for their ink being expensive and having chips in the cartridges that cause them to "expire", as well as issues with generic inks.
Summary: I just got this printer last week to replace my 6 year old baby, a 6940. For what I use a printer for, this will work fine. I have just 2 minor complaints. It doesn't hold much paper. And when printing photos on 4X6 paper, the photo paper has to go way back in the tray.
