DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS HEAP OF C**P

Barrie Thorpe, Amazon
29 July 2014
  • Summary: THE WORST PRINTER I HAVE EVER TRIED TO USE. BOUGHT IT AND INTIALLY DIDN'T SET IT UP STRAIGHT AWAY. WHEN I TRIED TO THE ROLLERS WOULDN'T PICK UP ANY PAPER. ON CLOSER INSPECTION I SAW THAT THE SPINDLE WASNT MOBING THE PICK UP DRUMS.

Wireless printing works 1% of the time; drinks ink by the gallon; scanning software is worse than useless

Mr. Paul S. Roper, Amazon
28 February 2014
  • Summary: This is SUCH a frustrating printer. I have lost count of the number of times I have reinstalled the ludicrously bloated HP drivers for this piece of junk. It will print wirelessly if there's a J in the month and the wind is blowing from the south-west. Maybe. Well, probably not.

Dont do it...

Ash, Amazon
24 November 2013
  • Summary: It seems everybody has a different problem with this printer....mine is the fact that it is more "useless" than "wireless". I can hold it up to my router, point to it and shout at it, but unfortunately all of this is in vain. Inks run out quick, but i can replace those.

Great product

Rinkytinkpink, Amazon
9 October 2013
  • Summary: Great printer and idiot proof to set up, which is just as well. Delivered quickly and prints the basics well, I would recommend it for others who need a cheap and capable printer.

A good all in one printer, but there are better out there.

Li11ibet, Dooyoo
23 September 2012
  • Excerpt: I purchased this printer (for around £40) for my uni course, as I regularly need to print off journals and a wireless printer was a must for me. I shopped around a lot, and this model seemed to give me all the features I needed for the best price.

Good printer but consumes ink like no tomorrow!

Mr. Aj Flynn "lx592", Amazon
13 July 2012
  • Summary: Good printer. Fairly inexpensive inks (currently £20.85 for a 364 mulitipack from Amazon) that seem to need changing a lot! I'd recommend getting the 364 XL of a colour that you use a lot - the basic 364 doesn't go very far.

Problems for UK purchasers

A. Tatchell, Amazon
10 July 2012
  • Summary: Power cable issues - I am not sure if the problem is with Amazon getting greedy by sourcing products outside the UK or the seller or Canon themselves. The printer arrived fine, so unpacked and started to set it up. Two power leads, one 2-pin for the continent and another 3-pin for the UK.

Looks Good but disappointed with the price.

Mr. D. M. Topper "Mike T", Amazon
29 March 2012
  • Summary: Bought this printer from Amazon at the price of £66.99. I also bought the combo ink cartridge pack at £17.49. Both items were despatched promptly - indeed the printer arrived ahead of estimate and as I was out at the time necessitated a visit to the depot to collect; annoying as this added a 2 day...

Prints documents - not photos!

screedsea..., Ciao
26 January 2012
  • Excerpt: After purchasing this printer around 6 months ago now both I and my girlfriend are extremely pleased with the purchase. At around £40 this is a fairly cheap printer but it does just about everything that you require a small household printer to do.
  • Pros: Cheap and great wireless connectivity
  • Cons: poor at printing photos with no phototray or double sided printing
