Summary: The printer worked until it didn't work. All of a sudden it shut off with a message about opening the printer. But the printer WAS open and the thing refused to operate. Went on HP site at hp.com and they said something about something shutting off and there was no fix. My only option was to buy another printer. Imagine that! That's when I decided I wouldn't buy HP anymore and went with Epson. Let's see how Epson operates.

Summary: The overall printer functionality is fine, but the inability to adjust the flawed print margins is what drives the score down. It's fine for printing standard coursework papers and powerpoints, but any custom work becomes problematic as the printer will not print very close to the paper edge at all.
Summary: I had to grade on a curve here or else it would be lower. HP forces you to take the <explicative>-ware to load the drivers but so does everybody else pretty much. There is a workaround though if you have the driver CD: put it in and load the driver through your device manager search function.
Summary: Excellent little workhorse. Doesn't have all the bells and whistles by put handles 95% of what I need printer/copier/scanner to do. Inexpensive so (when) it breaks I will likely replace with the same. Used in a fairy busy home office for close to 2 years now!
You've managed to suck enough money out me over the years

Summary: What a piece of junk! Has a mind of its own. Wireless feature stopped working two months after purchase, never to be seen again! Now it prints faded text and reversed colors on photos with old and brand new cartridges. HP, I am done with you! You've managed to suck enough money out me over the years. No More!!!
