Summary: The TriColor Ink Cartridge did not print after printing the alignment page. The low ink indicator came on and due to that the printer would not operate at all. The cartridge was new. I bought another cartridge locally and it worked perfectly and has ever since.
Summary: Great printer for a college student. Has everything they will need and nothing they don't. Would not recommend for color or heavy printing but for light weekly printing. Worth the price and is perfect for a student or someone who just needs a printer for the occasional print.

Summary: Don't know why I am being asked to submit a review on this product-again. I would rather forget the whole experience, mainly due to poor shipping methods used by Fed Ex. Please don't ask me to rate this entirely miserable experience ever again. And just to be clear, it has nothing to do with the company I got the printer from as I don't need them calling me and ringing my phone off the hook again to have me change my feed back!
Summary: Bottom of the line HP printers don't usually come with the USB cord to the computer, and they usually guzzle ink. You don't pay much for the printer so you pay through the nose for ink. Having known these drawbacks before I bought it, I love it. I especially like the self-aligning feature. It prints an alignment sheet, you scan it, and it fixes itself.
Summary: I HAD littel or no problems with this hp photo printer / after i bought one there multi use printers /(HP) IM sold/ not all photo printers are write for any one or one person. and what they like the best. or dont. yes hp ink tanks get costly$ some my photo printers/ realy dont work well with none brand inktanks. at lease the photo printers. at lease as my experinces go- ink tanks no matter what brands models-- last as much as there used.
Summary: It's faster than my Kodak, the price was $39 at Wallymart, came w/ two inks. I didn't need a USB cable because I already had one from the Kodak. The ink costs more than Kodak, and the HP ink carts are TINY! And no, the power cord is NOT 10" long. Had it running in one minute. It's...okay. If I get 3900 copies, I'll be happy.
Summary: This is a good cheap printer, unless you want to print photos Nowhere on the box does it indicate there is no borderless printing. Therefore it will not fill a 6"x4" piece of paper, leaving a mall border around the picture, and quite a large white space at the bottom of the page. This is fine for printing documents, but for printing photos it is rubbish.
