Summary: Avoid unless you have a large budget for ink. It will not let you do draft printing like the older hp printers to save on ink. It has a setting for fast draft, but that does not use less ink. The worst part is that it will not use refilled cartridges.
Summary: According to specs for the ink an XL cartridge should last 330 pages. I would be lucky if i get 30... This printer has been a humiliating experience. I have been screwed by HP. Will not use it again. Regret I bought it even if I can use it for sketchy scans. DON`T BUY IT!!
Summary: They are designed to rip you off. You can't insert a new cartridge without a tedious alignment process that requires lots of ink and paper (they make their real money from ink). If you only intend to use your printer for B&W printing, you still must install a color cartridge (they make their real...
Summary: When you make your first color print you'll be elated. it really does make nice prints. Problem is, what you save in the hardware you spend a whole lot more in INK!!! Seriously, I don't know what is wrong with it but the black runs out after just a few copies.
Summary: Got this as a hand me down. Scanner is slow and noisy. Had to download other software to create pdf files of a decent size. HP driver generated files are over 10x as large. Have not tried the printer yet.
Summary: I bought this printer because it was cheap. The old saying that you get what you pay for has never had a better application that this HP Deskjet 2050. This thing is the most sorry piece of junk ever.
Summary: This piece of garbage broke after one semester, I never dropped it or damaged it in any way, it just started failing to print and sending up all sorts of error messages no matter what I do, don't buy this machine unlesss you like paying 70 bucks for a headache.
This printer will make you pull your hair out and want to kill someone

Summary: If you saw the rating on this printer and read the reviews then there's not really much else to say, I bought this printer about 2 years ago for about $50 from Wal-Mart and have had nothing but problems ever since, I rarely ever print stuff usually only like a few pages every couple of months and I...
Summary: This printer uses MASSIVE amounts of ink and the cartridges cost a fortune! DO NOT BUY! Also, it seems that if you try and re-fill the ink cartridge, it instantly rejects the re-filled cartridge.
