  • Summary: I bought this hoping it would serve me well! But so far I have had a replacement and the latest one refuses to print. It is now out of warranty and I am with a dud machine!

Very dissapointed

Amanda Howes, Amazon
28 July 2013
  • Summary: I bought this printer as my old reliable Epson had expired. I installed it correctly and ever since then have had problems with it! It hardly prints when you try and paper shoots through, wasting blank sheets! Today was the last straw after it showed I had an empty coloured ink cartridge, when I only purchased new ones yesterday. It makes me very angry that I wasted my money, as have no box to send it back in now.

  • Summary: You could find something better for that price.
  • Pros: Cheap price. Scaning is ok.
  • Cons: Sometimes grabs two pages at once - good luck printing long files on both sides of the page. Settings options are very basic. Maintenance utilities are basic and barely do anything. Very small cartridges. Runs out of ink pretty fast.

Worse than the HP printer I bought 8 years ago

Iain, Amazon
14 June 2013
  • Summary: Whatever you do, DON'T buy this printer. Colour ink ran out after I printed around 10 photos. Cartidge costs £18+ depending on if you use HP or recycled. Very expensive. Poster printing is not possible - I was able to do this on printer I bought eight years ago. Not many features - basic draft/normal/best printing options and thats it. Annoyingly prints alignment page when not needed - I believe HP builds this in on purpose if printer is using non-HP ink.

Do not buy

OwlySue, Amazon
18 March 2013
  • Summary: The printer appears cheap but don't be fooled they will make sure they make plenty of profit by ensuring you have to buy overpriced cartridges. Don't think you can get around this by refilling the cartridges or buying aftermarket versions as if you do it insists on re-allignment every time it is powered up which wasted any savings you think you made not to mention the extra paper. We also bought a HP laptop (Pavilion)and that was useless too. I will never buy HP again.

WORST PRINTER EVER!!

Alicia, Amazon
13 March 2013
  • Summary: If I could give this printer 0 stars I would. The printer is very tempremental, doesn't always print. I've only had it about 6 months and its already packing up on me! Says I've ran out of ink depite changing the cartridges and only printing a 12 page essay.Constantly says its ran out of paper despite there being plenty of good quality paper!! Lastly it just stops printing when it finally decides to print, constantly gets paper jams! DO NOT GET IT!!!

Poor quality

Green fingers, Amazon
24 December 2012
  • Summary: Price says it all really. Paper feed stopped working properly after a few weeks light use. HP are cutting too many corners with this printer.
