Summary: I was curious what the reviews were on this printer. In all this time, I haven't checked. I'm only writing to compensate. The negative reviews are brutal and for those considering buying one of these off amazon or craigslist now, it's not fair to exaggerate our frustrations.
Summary: I've had this printer for a few years simply because I don't print that much and don't want to spend much money on something I rarely use. This printer has never been able to print a decent picture.
If not for the issues with ink and alignment pages, would be a reasonable low volume printer

Summary: I've owned this printer for about two years and have run it under both Win XP and Win Vista. The printer does a reasonable job of scanning and printing but it suffers from several defects, 1. Uses ink VERY quickly and the ink cartridges are rather expensive. 2.
Summary: I'd give this pile of junk a negative 2 star rating if I could, but apparently 1 star is the lowest rating permitted by Amazon. Allow me to rant on . . . I'd like to echo the sentiments expressed by several others.
Excerpt: I purchased the HP PSC 1510 All-In-One Printer a few years ago and I like it a lot. The HP brand is very dependable and reliable, in my experience, for one thing. This particular machine does several functions and does most of them very well. Let’s …
Summary: This printer worked for 2 or 3 months, then the feeder started pulling in multiple pages at a time. This product is crap, and HP should be ashamed. If you want a printer that works, don't buy HP.
Summary: Bottom line, this printer is GARBAGE! Scanner works just fine. But take it from someone who has had this printer for more than a year. After a few months, it will start to act up! You better claim your warranty before it runs out! I didn't act fast enough.
Pros: When it decides to print with brand new ink cartridges, photos came out great. Scanner works flawlessly. I'm a web designer for a couple photography websites and the scanned images come out crystal clear.
Cons: Ink cartridges are expensive and run out incredibly fast! Even though the ink cartidges are full, it says I have low ink. I get all sorts of error messages everytime I print something! I spend over a half hour trying to print one page! I've talked with HP customer support and they couldn't fix my...
Pros: It was an excellent price for a reliable printer. I like the scanner too, I didn't think I was going to need it but it comes in handy all the time. I haven't had any feeding problems, I highly recommend inkjet paper and not standard, lower grade, copy paper.
Cons: Pretty small cartridges, only about 500 pages of text. They're easy to refill, though, with a standard inkjet refill kit.
