Summary: I have used many printers, big and small, but boy this is the absolute worst. Bulky, noisy and useless for its size and noise. It takes forever to print a couple of pages because it keeps 'cleaning', whatever it means! And the installation is like you are sending a rocket to the moon, although I personally got through it. All that trouble after paying more than $1000. Pl. do yourself a favor and look elsewhere.
Summary: We have this printer at my office and everyone hates it. The printer takes forever to print any graphics heavy PDFs, which includes anything from a scan. And we need to print those all the time.
Summary: After owning an HP 4mp for 16 years I would not consider anything but another HP. What a shock and disappointment. I confess it prints just fine, but many less expensive printers can do that. However I needed a scanner and again, single page scanning is fine. Using the document feeder is another story. I had misfeeds from day one and it only gets worse with time. I had to replace the roller after only a few months of light use. That only lasted a couple of months.

Summary: I ORDERED THIS LASERJET AND ONCE ARRIVED, THEY LEFT OUT THE COLOR INK CARTRIDGES SO I HAD TO CALL AND ASK FOR THEM. RECEIVED A 1 1/2 WEEKS LATER. ONCE IT WAS SET UP, FOUND THE PRINTER DID NOT GRAB HOLD OF PAPER AND LABELS PROPERLY AND WAS NOT PRINTING MARGINS CORRECTLY. AFTER MONTHS OF TRYING TO RESOLVE, THE OWNER OF LASER EXPERTS FINALLY TOOK IT BACK. SINCE IT HAD TAKEN MONTHS TO RESOLVE, I HAD PURCHASED A NEW PRINTER.
Summary: I have had problems since I bought the thing. Spend over $400 and should've bought a $50 printer. Has never allowed me to scan to email. Now constant problems with the color being out of line and calibrating not working. HP won't help since my short warranty went out.
Summary: Do yourself a favor and dont buy this junk. it'll give you headache later on. It seem like when it hits a certain number of prints, it will give an error and i'll to reset the printer for it to work. i had to do this reset 4 times already in less than 2 years. And now, it keeps printing out garbage/weird symbols on the first page and wont stop until it runs out of paper or i turn the printer off. I googled it and there's no help for this problem.
The most costly and the worst printer I've ever owned

Summary: We have a home office and need an AIO, however we have a Mac and PC to support. AT the time, HP was one of the few that carried a color laser AIO. The fax feature is terrible - we have to turn off and on the machine to get it to work every time. The print quality is mediocre - after a year, we have problems with graphics streaking, very inconsistent color production (sometimes orange looks like a red, sometimes orange looks like a yellow), shadows printing on the...
Summary: Our organization has purchased HP printers for years, and this is the first one that has been nothing but problems. The scanning feature is not compatible with Win7, (ya really), the fax works only when it wants to. I would not recommend this at all, you'd be better tossing your money out an open window.
Summary: I am very disappointed in HP as most of the printers we own are HP and they are great, but these are terrible. We bought 4 of these printers for our offices. We had them installed in November 2011, and they are so slow that it is painfull. I would not recommend them to a busy office. The quality it ok, but not worth the wait. If you have time to wait for it to calibrate and clean every page or two, then buy all means get one.
Summary: Bought in Feb 2010 - problems with drivers - 3 weeks later got beyond that. Then, about 8 months ago, it starts acting up - printing one page of a multipage document, and freezing. It needed the "ok" button pressed, and it would reprint the same page plus the next page. Now, on a 10 page document, you have to press the "ok" button 9 times, it prints 20 pages, and occasionally needs to be entirely shut down and restarted to clear the memory. HP says out of warranty.
