Summary: I have had this printer for about one year now: used daily for printing documents, including color illustrations and the occasional photo. Starting at 6 months, the print nozzles for all of the colors would become clogged: multiple cycles of cleaning the nozzles would not help and I would have to manually clean the printer head with Windex and paper towels.
Summary: Following the instructions perfectly, this printer refuses wireless installation and simply will not print a document. It spits out blank sheets of paper with abandon! It claims that my Windows 7 operating system is insufficient for installation. Further, it claims that it cannot install MAC software on my Windows 7. The Epson Expression Premium XP-800 Small-In-One Wireless Color Inkjet Printer is a complete waste of time and money.
Excerpt: I'm on my third replacement of this printer. Every time I attempt to replace the ink, the print quality is terrible. I've spent hours on the phone with their tech support. Won't buy an Epson again.
Summary: This one is the same as Artisan 835 I used to have from Epson - Bad. Just in different ways. The old one had an awful paper tray, this one is painfully slow and drinks ink. Obvious conclusion - don't buy Epson printers. Twice bitten - silly me - never again.
Excerpt: I use about 1/2 of the ink to start printing. I had something wrong with the printers heads. I had to clean them 4 times before the printer started to print where I could read the print. Very frustrating and this took a few days on and off to figure out what was wrong.
Summary: Have owned lots of HP printers in the past. Decided to try epson and picked this one because of its size and its price to feature ratio. Have had lots of trouble, sent back to factory once and got a refurb back in its place. Still Isnt great. Back to HP for me.
Excerpt: I bought one to use with my wirelesss laptop. I love it so much that when Office had it on sale I bought another to use with my desk PC . Best printer I have ever had in 19 years of buying printers. Buy one, you will not regret it!
Pros: Easy to Use, Meets Expectations, love love it
Excerpt: Recently purchased this and have set it up for wireless. It was relatively easy to get the basics set. I have not had time to test out all of its functions yet. Its speed is so much better than all the other printers I've used (both Epsons & HPs). However, the document print quality isn't as good. Everything is there and readable, but the print isn't as dark. However, the photographic printing is fast and great quality.
