Little use, ink all gone

Kitterkat, Amazon
4 June 2015
  • Summary: After my old faithful HP died I bought this printer for the all in one features, and because it got great reviews as far as photo quality. What I found was that even if I NEVER print, the ink will be sucked dry in no time. I printed very few photos and have nothing left in the ink well.

High Ink Use and resultant problems

Denny, Amazon
6 April 2015
  • Summary: Do not recommend you buy Epson printers, atleast the XP models I have used. The problem is that the units do not tell you when more than one cartriage needs to be replaced so you just replace the one cartriage.

Terrible printer.

David Wentzell, Amazon
12 December 2014
  • Summary: Do not waste your money. THIS IS A PIECE OF JUNK. I purchased one in March 2013 and my first impression was "Wow". It printed beautiful pictures, was easy to connect to my WiFi and I thought I hit a homerun after some bad HP all in ones.

Never Again, Epson

D. Smigelski, Amazon
12 December 2014
  • Summary: This was my first Epson Printer. I worked fine for just a little bit over a year. It was used as a small business printer and primary fax machine. It printed slower than the old HP it replaced, didn't hold much paper, but it got the job done.

DO NOT PURCHASE THIS PRINTER!

SnowStar, Amazon
15 October 2014
  • Summary: "Do Not" I repeat..."do not" buy this printer! Or any Epson printers for that matter. I did buy mine over a year ago. It works great with the original ink cartridges but after you purchase new ones for about $100...then it does not even print anything clearly? Well it tries.

Terrible print head quality, wastes ink

Ron Sakamoto, Amazon
26 March 2014
  • Summary: I have had this printer for about one year now: used daily for printing documents, including color illustrations and the occasional photo. Starting at 6 months, the print nozzles for all of the colors would become clogged: multiple cycles of cleaning the nozzles would not help and I would have to...

It looks good!

Patrick A. Riley, Amazon
20 February 2014
  • Summary: Following the instructions perfectly, this printer refuses wireless installation and simply will not print a document. It spits out blank sheets of paper with abandon! It claims that my Windows 7 operating system is insufficient for installation.

Ink problems

Wendy R. Williams, Amazon
31 December 2013
  • Summary: Like many other reviewers, I'm happy with the printer, when it works. It seems that each time I have to change ink, the print head has to be cleaned several times before all colors print properly. I've had 2 black ink cartridges suddenly not be recognized.

Being replaced after less than a year

Val J., Amazon
21 November 2013
  • Summary: There are a lot of features on this printer that I liked. Unfortunately, it started giving me headaches a couple of months ago. Some of them were my fault - I didn't print on it regularly enough, and now I have clogged print heads (which seem to be resistant to the recommended cleaning procedures.

It's my last Epson printer and I hope you never buy one

H. Yang, Amazon
20 November 2013
  • Summary: The printer looks nice and has smaller footprint than other all-in-one unit. When I first turned it on, it printed quite nicely. After printing about 100 pages, it showed one of the ink cartridge was spent, (no Epson, it wasn't. I could feel there was ink left inside), so I put in a new cartridge.
