Excerpt: I am tech savvy yet since I do not have a "wireless network" in my home, use hotspots through my IPhone and iPad so the printer will not connect correctly. You also have to log in to the hotspot manually every time you want to connect devices. Printer will not save any of the settings I put in.
Excerpt: Good scanner - that's it. The problem is that everytime I print (twice a month), I have to clean the print heads, which uses ink. If you use it daily it would probably be ok.Also runs out of ink quickly, even though I buy high capacity cartridges.
Excerpt: Quality of print & copy is fine. It makes an awful lot of noise and there is jerky movement when paper is fed into the printer. Drives me nuts. I expect the thing to wind up in seven or nine little chunks all over the floor.
Summary: The installation directions suggest that a USB cable be used but does NOT include it in the hardware provided. I found this to be a bit odd... I was able to do it without the cable but it involved a bit of time and "unnatural" PC actions.
Excerpt: Seems to be good value. Prints when you want it to. Scan is a little slow, but this is not a high priced top of the line unit. I needed something to print while in FL and the unit is doing what I wanted.
Summary: We had a terrible time trying to connect this printer to our IMac computer. We had to use a USB cable instead of WiFi and my husband cannot connect his MacBook Pro to the printer because there is only one place to lug in the USB on the WiFi.
