Summary: 1. The wireless functionality is spotty in terms of performance. I have my router 3 inches from the printer and many times the printer will not print. Rather, i get an error message asking me to check my network.
Summary: We are disappointed in this product overall. The price was very good, but this product showed several issues. First, making color copies and prints takes forever !!! Up to 2 1/2 minutes per copy. Secondly, the paper feed is prone to multi-sheet paper jams and only works well with only a few sheets in the feeder. This printer is acceptable for the occasional copy, but if you are a frequent copier, steer towards a better product.
Summary: This is a very convenient and good print quality, but it is extremely slow. The scan function leaves a lot to be desired but the print function is good but as I said it is slow, if you are in a hurry this one is not for you.
Summary: 01/28/14 went shopping for printer. Saw XP-410 & thought it was just what I was looking for so I bought one. The size is perfect & I think print quality is above average. I don't have computer & don't know a lot about them. I was looking for printer to use to print from phone & XP-410 looked like solution. Problem is I haven't been able to do that yet. Probably me. Installation not as easy as it appeaars. Can't get Wi-Fi working.
Summary: I bought this because I have so much printing to do for my school work. The printer was inexpensive, which is the reason I chose it. What a mistake! So far I have gone through numerous ink cartridges, and half the time the printer does not print properly. For example, several sections of the page have blank rows. This printer can print out basic coloring pages, but Word documents with a lot of writing- no!
Summary: the four cartridges supplied with the unit are set up in a way that you have to remove small pieces of protective tape. the details are a bit vague but readable but what is not is the ability to actually remove the small pieces of tape that are covering the ink jet outputs. the pieces of tape are extremely small and have no room to hold on to and pull to the side to remove.
Summary: This printer is noisy and slow and the scanner bed will not accomodate anything other than sheets of paper (the lid isn't hinged to accept a book, for example.) It's an inexpensive printer so for infrequent printing it's ok.
Excerpt: I was able to get it to print from my phone no problem. I had difficulty getting it to print from my Surface 2 and Surface 2 Pro. Customer service from Epson poor to very poor. They indicated they did not think it was even compatible first time I called with either Surface 2. I still don't have it printing from the one tablet.
Excerpt: Bought a Toshiba laptop along with this printer. Turns out there are no drivers for wireless operation using Windows 8.1 You'd think the tech/sales people who recommended the combo should have been aware.
