Summary: I have an epson scanner I use for my negatives and needed something to start doing some small scale prints on at home. I didn't want a full darkroom yet and didn't want to rely on walmart all the time for printing. The printer itself is a cheap printer. Its not the top of the line printer from epson and it shows. It scans and copes fine. Black and white printing is fine. Some color printing on paper is acceptable.
Summary: I like the printer. It's compact and easy to use. However, the installation instructions need to be improved upon. There is an area where it was difficult to determine how to proceed to the next step. Geeks understand. Make it easier for the layperson on the disk installation set-up.
Summary: WOW, Just Got This Printer & Took Less Than 10 Min To Load Software & Connect Up To My Wireless Network, I Can Not Tell You Enough How Great This Was. I Had Bought A Canon Printer On Friday 09/ 19 / 14, I Spent Over 8 Hrs Trying To Get It Connected To My Wireless Network, With No Luck, Even With Canon Tech Support, Centurylink, ETC. Thanks Again & Keep Up The Good Work.
Summary: I bought this printer to replace a trusty 6-year-old Epson Stylus cx3810, which I damaged the paper feed on. Mostly, I need a copier for black and white music charts, and for printing copies of checks for my work as a gardener.
Summary: I am very happy with this printer. It was easy to set up and use from my tablet and phone. I only print a few pages at a time because of what I am using it for. If I needed to print at a higher volume I would probably look for something that prints a little faster, but made by the same company.
Summary: I have noticed that if I go without printing something every few days I have to clean the printer heads, which wastes a lot of ink. Even then, there are areas that do not print well. I liked my old printer, but do not like my new one. I will never buy another Epson printer!
