Summary: Printer heads always need cleaning. Spend more time trying to print one page with this printer than it takes to dive to Kinko's. As others have reported you cannot print b&w if color cartridges are empty. Thought I would give Epson a try instead of always buying HP but will never buy another Epson product.
Cons: Cannot print text using only black cartridge = scam
Summary: With a software-enforced maximum of 200 prints per cartridge, it costs more to use the thing than to print at Kinkos. If a cartridge is empty, it infuriatingly won't let you do anything else with the printer, such as scan or fax. I've had the thing for just a few months, and it has started printing blank lines on pages. The tiny digital screen is almost impossible to use.
Excerpt: The printer always giving me problems on the quality of printing-a part of the word is missing when print a letter, I need to run the head cleaning multiple times before in order to print normally. The color ink runs out in a month, now even though I run the head cleaning, it still doesn't fix the problem itself.
Excerpt: I had to order the printer through the store and it arrived one business day later. I had a little trouble getting my computer and thy printer to talk to each other. My efforts to trouble shoot over the support line rendered complete steps to solve the problem. the printer is a bit noisy, but works well to this point in time. I really got good price on it and am happy with the work it does.Would I recommend it to my friends? yes, I would.
