Excerpt: I recommended it to a friend. She bought one and is happy, too. It's small, compact, and produces sharp, clear print. I am quite happy, so far. Have not used it on any long print jobs as yet -- not more than 10 pages -- so that will be the test! I trust it will be economical regarding use of ink cartridges,as that is one reason I purchased it over a Hewlett-Packard printer.
Excerpt: I was pleased with the price of the ink, not near as expensive as other persons and a lot cheaper than Lexmark, Canon and HP, which I have tried in the past. Setup was very easy and it started printing from the very first try. Scanning is a little more complicated and quite slow but does a good job. The supplied starter cartridges do no last long but the replacement extra capacity ones do last quite a while.
Excerpt: Not the quietest printer but decent quality printing & easy to use! Its nice & compact, too, especially if you're limited on space. I would recommend to anyone who wants a good quality printer at a decent price.
Excerpt: I have been an HP user in the past but the quality has seemed lacking of late. My brother builds custom networks and recommended EPSON. After much research I decided on this Epson WF2540 All in One. I am thrilled!!!! It's a great printer, easy to set up and it worked right the very first time!!! It prints very quickly so be around to catch the copies just in case they go flying out of the chute!!! CONS: NONE SO FAR!!!
Excerpt: Bought this on sale to replace another WorkForce printer that had decided to die. Of course our cartridges don't fit the new printer. Prints beautifully. Very noisy. Simpler to use than the old one. Glad to have it.
Great product, great performance, one small feature mars perfection.

Summary: This is an exceptional product. It works as advertized, and is easy to operate. The Ink cartridges are easy to change, and the printing of small type face documents is very clear. I do have one item which is (in my opinion) poorly designed. This is the power cable. The end of the cable which plugs into the printer has 2 very small, round holes, and the printer has 2 very small diameter, very short prongs that the cable plugs into.
