Excerpt: Avoid this printer at all costs. I am not one to post reviews on many products but my experience with the Epson WF-2540 and Epson support has left me so upset, this is the only way I could prevent others from a similar experience. I have had the WF-2540 for less than a year. Every single time, the pages ALWAYS printed blurry. Normal tasks like cleaning the print head and other maintenance items solved this issue but you had to do this at every start up.
Excerpt: Set-up was easy and printer function has worked well with no problems. Good quality, fast print. Have not tried fax nor run it long enough to need ink replacement yet so cannot comment on this.
Excerpt: Have 't used the printer much yet but so far so good. Wish I'd checked out the specs first because I miss the SD reader that I had on my old Epson printer for transferring pictures into my computer so I connect the camera, by cable, to my computer so it's no big deal. I did have a couple of set-up questions so I called customer service and was disappointed in the experience.
Excerpt: I purchased this printer after my hp finally died. I have always purchased hp because I have an hp computer and thought they would work better together. After finding this one on sale and realizing that Epson ink is less expensive than hp ink I thought why not. I have been using this printer for a week and so far no problems. Set up was easy and it prints very quietly. It does all that my last printer did and it is smaller and lighter.
Excerpt: As yet, I have only used the copier function of the Epson Work Force WF-2540 color inkjet all-in-one printer, but the performance has been exemplary. The colors are crisp, clear and true to the original on standard paper. Overall, I am impressed with the performance and more than satisfied with my purchase.
Excerpt: We had an older model Epson Workforce that served us well for a number of years but was beginning to show its age. I went to Staples to check out the newer models with regard to a limited budget. While looking through the store I noticed some clearance models and while talking to the salesperson, a suggestion was made to check out the current floor models.
Excerpt: This device was easy to set up and enable on my home wi-fi network. I was able to print with the very first try. Scanning took a little longer to figure out. I placed my original on the document glass and the scanning feature said there was no document found to scan. After trying various intuitive fixes, I referred to manuals and onboard menu items and finally discovered that the scanner was looking for the document in the auto document feeder instead of on the glass.
Excerpt: It is hard to review something when you have only been using it for a few weeks but so far so good. I don't find it as user friendly as other printers but am figuring it out. The ink is actually not as easy to replace as other printers. I am used to opening the printer and the ink slots coming to the center, there is one more step with this printer. The printer itself is a little noisy but nothing terrible. Print speed is good.
