Summary: I purchased the epson workforce wf2530 and have not used the copy mode but tried the fax system and encountered a number of paper jams. Finally I held down the carriage with my hand until the fax finished scanning and sending the message.
Summary: I use the scan feature to attach scanned documents to my email. The bottom line now is that after about 3 hours on the help desk with two technicians, this feature now works. That's the good news. The bad news is that the unit will not scan to email out of the box unless you go through what I just had to do. So if you have a few hours and a strong voice, you will be fine. Otherwise, not so much.......
Summary: I haven't been able to intalled the software on anay of my 4 computers (2 x win7 + 2 x winxp) . I keep getting installation error messages, I tried to donload the software even on software upgrade I got the same error message. I don't know how but I'm able to use it as printer & Scaner but I don't have anay idea of what's been realy installed or not.
Summary: The reason I bought this particular printer was because I print alot of cardstock and I wanted a printer where the paper would take a direct downward path. I am on my second printer in two weeks. I took the first one back because it would not allow me to set it up as wireless even though I was online with the Epson people and they walked me through it. They told me to take it back. I set the second one up to do wireless printing and it worked maybe once or twice.
Summary: At first, I was satisfied with the performance of this printer. I thought it was too slow, but we don't have a high volume printing need so it would suffice. However, after blasting through ink like nobody's business with relatively few sheets, I've reached a level of frustration that could have me beating this printer with a hammer in no time.
Summary: When I changed to a new Epson 200XL print cartridge, black, my printer started blurring and letters piling on top of one another. I did all of the trouble shooting, reinstalled everything and now I have to bring it back to Office Depot for another one. Hopefully they will replace this one. On the bright side, I loved this printer until I could no longer print what I needed to.
