Excerpt: This machine is a big waste of money. Most of the funtions are terribly confusing. It seems to want to be operated using this tiney poorly lit screen and some functions it just wouldn't do. To top it off there is no answer when you dial their technology department Don' buty this plus the ink is outrageously expensive. I am taking it back today.
Summary: I bought this All-in-one because of it's small foot print. That is the only positive that I can say about this printer. 1. Paper feeder, rear, failed after 32 days necessitating a call to Epson and an in warranty exchange. (Customer service was able to process replacement, but the process was laborious, and reps were slow to respond, placing me on hold after almost every question that I had. 2. Ink Cartridges (Black) last about I month of light duty printing. 3.
Summary: My printer was delivered promptly, The unboxing instructions were unclear as to how much tape and packing material had to be removed, I kept coming across more of it (for a printer with a black finish, orange tape would be easier to see than blue). The cartridges were a VERY tight fit, and the black was slightly wider than the colors. The software installation was about average in quirks.
NO CABLE / BE WARNED IF YOU WANT TO CONNECT TO YOUR COMPUTER RATHER THAN GO WIRELESS

Summary: After reading many , many reviews , I ordered this . The installation process ground to a halt when I was asked to connect a USP cable . A cable was NOT included with this product . I kind of think that info ought to be included at the onset when someone orders one of these . Am now ordering a cable , which sets my business and time back till the end of the week . Thanks , Epson .
Excerpt: It was a good price to buy, but I have only had it about 6 months and have had to replace the ink about every month. I only print maybe 30 pages a week on average. at this rate it costs me a dollar a page to print. to change the settings is very difficult as well, and if one of the colors is out it won't print even if it is only black and white. I will be trying to get my money back!!! To make copies it is very very very slow!!!
Cons: Does Not Meet Expectations, expensive ink/low quantity in each cartridge, ink hog!!, slow to copy
Summary: Overall a nice printer, but it is designed to become inoperable if one of the 'color' cartridges runs out. Even if you designate it to print with only black, it still will not work until you replace the specific 'color' that is out of ink. To me, it's an obvious push to stock up on ink cartridges but in the mean time (I guess) they plan to hold the customer hostage to get it done quickly. I don't like the concept of 'putting customers to task' to buy your product.
Excerpt: Incredibly, there is no fixed setting for black and white printing. The default (Standard) is color. The only other default is "Last setting used." That's fine if you remember whether the last document printed was color or grayscale. One must hunt through a menu to get to grayscale printing. Just plain stupid. The only reason for this has to be so Epson can sell more colored ink. Had I known this I wouldn't have purchased this printer.
Pros: Compact Design, Easy To Set Up, Easy To Use, Fast Print Time, Reliable
