Summary: I wasted 4 hours of my time and missed a deadline because the printer software included with the product disabled my entire suite of MS Office 365 products. I had to isolate and remove a piece of junk software bundled with the driver download. And the Epson support site was useless. Feel like Epson owes me something for patching their product!
Summary: I agree with the customer(s) who said it IS NOT the usual Epson quality. I've purchased prior Epson printers and never had this problem. This printer skips lines and doesn't print correctly. I even cleaned the print heads, ran a few test pages and spent money on replacing the black ink cartridge (that was already full) to see if by some miracle that would help and it still had horrible quality.
Summary: We were excited when it arrived. It looked great and setting it up to print wirelessly was nice. But within a week, and less than 50 copies later, it said it was out of black ink?? (These were just regular documents = no photos), So we ordered an ink cartridge, and since replacing it, the printer keeps saying "printer error" and won't do anything. We followed instructions for troubleshooting, and yes, we did get the right ink cartridge (checked multiple times).
Summary: I bought this All in One Printer and it printed with large omissions of characters on the copy. I sent it back and got another one and it did or the thing. I cannot make a copy or print without a large amount of missing information all over the page.
Summary: Printer demands color ink even for black and white printing. The printer also slowly uses up the color ink on its own even if you never print in color, forcing you to buy some. Once it starts to get low in any color, you'll still have the option to "Print Black" with minimal settings... however, the printer still uses color for these prints, and once the color completely runs out... you're out of luck.
Epson WorkForce WF-2530 Wireless All-in-One Color Inkjet Printer
Byrne B. Degrandpre, Amazon
22 February 2014
Summary: dissapointed; print was very poor (think cartridges provided were dried out, suggesting printer was built long ago); no USB cable was provided; screen for printer functions (cartridge changes, copy, etc.) is way too small and non-color. After setting it up and trying for a couple of hours to get a decent copy, or print a page that was readable, I packed up the printer and sent it back to Amazon. The return process by Amazon was amazingly easy.
