I've owned an HP and Canon, and Epson in 2 years. The Epson is my pick!

Summary: I bought this product because i needed multiple trays. I finally have a printer that doesn't tell me what I can and can't do but I am able to tell it what I want it to do and it does it.Cons: the paper trays are rather flimsy.
Summary: I love this printer, but there are two short comings. 1 - the AirPrint setup is a bit difficult, but I completed all the steps and could print from my iPhone and iPad. However, this function doesn't last long and I find myself going through the setup process again to get it to work for a little while before it stops. 2 - picture quality is a bit lacking. It may be the picture file quality itself, but I tried to print a couple pictures and the quality was lacking.
Summary: Just as my second summer session ended, my Brother 490CW finally kicked the bucket. I needed a new printer before the fall semester, so I started scouring the interweb for the best deals. The Epson Workforce 845 received rave reviews here on Amazon, CNET, and other web-based review sites. As such, I felt I was a well informed consumer and that ninety-nine dollars was a real steal.
Summary: Great printer, easy to use touch screen with plenty of options, quality prints. with 2 paper trays will hold plenty of paper. I use it in our home on a wireless network. does everything for the family quickly and effortlessly.
Summary: I obtained this printer to replace my Canon PIXMA MP460 All-In-One Photo Printer (1449B002) , which worked well enough, but didn't have faxing capabilities or other advanced features (such as networking). Networking: The WorkForce 845 is a solid all-in-one device. Not only can it network (give multiple computers the ability to connect to it at the same time), but there are two different ways to do so.
Summary: The Epson WorkForce 845 is an all-in-one printer/scanner/copier/fax machine that is suitable for small offices and home businesses. It's priced right for that market segment and is a fine printer for most tasks that can be thrown at it. Set-up of this printer is nearly painless. It is actually more of a struggle getting the printer out of the box than it is to configure it for use.
Summary: Pros: 7.8-inch touch-screen display with a 3.5-inch color LCD High Capacity Ink Cartridges INCLUDED Functionality Dual Paper Trays Relatively Compact Size based on Multi-Function Capability Relatively Lightweight Two-Sided Printing Two-Sided Scan and Copy Wireless iPhone and iPad Printing Connect Email Print Application Cons: Less than perfect text alignment (may be related to print speed) Average photo speed and quality Auto Document Feeder does not resize to fit small...
Epson WorkForce 845 A Great Printer - Awesome Features!
23 November 2011
Summary: I bought this printer because it was on sale and i wanted to try a different brand other than Hp. The one I have now (Hp C6380 all-in-one) goes through so many prep cycles (before and after printing) that it drives me mad with all the noise that it makes and the time that it takes to finish calibrating itself. But make no mistake, she's an excellent photo printer. So I bought this Epson Workforce machine and tried out all of its features.
Summary: There's a few mixed reviews about this printer but so far I like it. It is a bit large but not in width but rather in height. Its because of the dual paper trays which I happen to like. I do lots of printing on various papers and like that I get to have plain paper and labels in the same printer and not have to switch manually. Epson's are always fast in printing and this model is too. Black is real fast and color is too if its general.
