Summary: There's a few mixed reviews about this printer but so far I like it. It is a bit large but not in width but rather in height. Its because of the dual paper trays which I happen to like. I do lots of printing on various papers and like that I get to have plain paper and labels in the same printer and not have to switch manually. Epson's are always fast in printing and this model is too. Black is real fast and color is too if its general.
Pros: Super easy setup for Win & Mac, Fast printing speeds, Fast scanner, Quality print outs.
Cons: Larger footprint (dual paper trays), Ink prices ($46 for cmy and $24 blk), Cleaning inks utility uses way too much ink.
Summary: Would not connect via wireless unless connected by USB during that session. NEVER printed any text adjacent to any thing with color in it. Customer service dragged support along until the warranty was expired then simply said,"oh, you should have sent this in for repair." Even though there was record of several calls about the problems they have now washed their hands of the device. I'm out - No Epson EVER.
If I could give you 0 stars I would, just because you are money grubbing jerkwads.

Summary: If I could give you 0 stars I would, just because you are money grubbing jerkwads. Turns out, after reinstalling a printer driver on one of my systems, it updated the printer so now I can't use my non-epson ink cartridges. Funny, they hadn't broken the printer in the 2 years I have had it up til now, despite the new warning from the jerkwads (Epson) that says "Epson recommends the genuine Epson cartridges listed above.
Summary: We have had a lot of trouble with this printer. We have used it with two desktops running Windows and a Macbook Pro. All 3 units have had trouble printing. None of them can scan. After much frustration, it was eventually hardwired to one of the desktops. On the few occasions that we have gotten something to scan, the colors have been inaccurate. We have been using this printer about 18 months, and we hate it.
Summary: paper jams 30% of the time, rips through ink like you've never seen, louder than any other printer on the market, prints fail almost 20% of the time, que-ing feature forgets jobs and or messes them up, the wheels that move the paper along create creases or track marks on paper thicker than 80# cover, will not scan to my yahoo or gmail accounts, says there are paper jams but there arent, fails to grab paper half the time, grabs 3-4 sheets of 60# gloss text at a time and...
