Summary: This printer is great. Just one thing though. If you use Microsoft Office 2013, the ABBYY add-ins can actually crash your computer!!! They conflict with Office programs, and cause instability. These add-ins are optional, so make sure that you don't install them and you will be fine. Like I said before, this printer really is a good, quality printer. Just beware of the add-ins, and I'm sure that this goes for other Epson products as well.
Summary: Caveat emptor. While the WF-7520 has much to commend itself, it has two major flaws...one merely irritating, one unforgivable. The irritating flaw: no pass-through ability. So forget printing on card stock or heavy label stock, and expect lots and lots of jams on envelopes. The unforgivable flaw: the printer regularly and repeatedly develops hideous streaking, which typically requires 3 back-to-back head cleaning cycles to clear up.
Summary: WiFi keeps cutting out. This time it seems to have stoped working for good. Despite trying everything I can find in Epson's help, troubleshooting, my other computer, router + hardware help + troubleshooting, despite trying to reinstall the drivers, despite checking the internet for answers, it just won't work.
Summary: I bought the Epson Workforce WF-7520 for my 1-person office because I needed something that would print and scan up to 11"X17". I read reviews stating for a small office, this is the best ink-jet out there, won't break the bank, perfect for a small office, and has high print quality. To be honest, after a month of use, this is probably the worst ink-jet I have used. It prints poorly and more slowly than identified in the specs.
Summary: At this writing I have been using the 7520 about 10 months. I really like the machine as a scanner, and for printing text, especially 2-sided printing. I find it unusable, however, for printing color pictures on a page. When I try, it prints a light line, mostly yellow in color and about one printed line in height, all the way across the page. This happens about every 2" in areas of the page that include a color picture. I have tried changing the ink cartridges.
Summary: I generally like this product, but have had a lot of problems with it. I do some 11x17 printing and a lot of 2-sided printing and this printer does those things well. On my original printer I had some problems with streaks appearing in large blocks of color. That was the reason why I got my first warranty replacement. Then that replacement printer started printing a solid black line on everything that went through the ADF.
Summary: Outside of it making noises when scanning unit runs good, MAJOR problem is User Manual, and Online Support does NOT give you results on how to CLEAN internal rollers to take away VERTICAL Lines when scanning documents through Top Auto Feeder.
Summary: I may be at fault for expecting too much from a low price all in one printer... I read reviews that it did a good job on photos (which is what I wanted it for) but I was sorely disappointed in it's print quality with colors... they came out dull, flat and faded looking. It's also boasted to be a fast printer... a little TOO fast I think. In it's hurry to spit out paper, there would be occasional thin white gaps in the image.
