Summary: This is the worst printer! One star is generous. Can't even print simple black and white text properly. I run the nozzle alignment and nozzle cleaning procedures and maybe get 8 - 10 ok pages before it starts failing again.
Summary: The Windows 8.1 driver for this printer does not fully support it's features. Most significantly you can not choose paper trays or print 11x17 but there are many other features present in the Windows 7 driver that are missing. Scanning works ok though.
Summary: Great piece of hardware. Epson print drivers have well-known bugs on any Linux system, and they are "unsupported". Epson Linux drivers do not support 11x17 printing, and many other large-format sizes bigger than 8.5x14.
Summary: Looks like a good printer, but if you are buying it to run under Linux, forget about large format. No support for large paper sizes, chokes and throws error messages if you try. I wasted a good solid weekend trying to hack it to print 11X17, but it will not do it.
Summary: This machine worked pretty good for the first couple of months. However, the trays are very cheaply made, I can no longer print more than 10 pages without having a paper jam, then it skips the page that was destroyed so you have to go back and reprint or rescan that page.
Software is atrocious and tech support is even worse! Do not expect to scan anything that is shiny or isn't flat!!

Summary: Purchased this product mainly for it's ability to scan larger format items. I attempted to use it to scan graded comics which are encased in a clear hard plastic shell and are about the thickness of a magazine. The scanner created a massive glare when scanning the books and produced blurry images.
