Summary: I've had my Workforce 645 for 18 months. I bought it because the reviews said it was the most economical on ink. Well, any economy vanished for me when the printer started printing skippy black. I had an extra ink cartridge, so I replaced it. Same problem, even after repeated head cleaning cycles.
Summary: I have owned this printer for about 6 months for a small business. It may be a good printer for home and photos but for a work enviroment it does not cut it. It is slow It is very difficult to print envelopes - almost impossible It does not like any paper except regular letter head The color is only...
Summary: This printer gets good marks from most reviewers. It was easy to set up and all functions worked exceptionally well. The issue that all will encounter begins when ink cartridges need to be replaced. The Epson pricing for OEM cartridges is out of line.
Summary: I am extremely disappointed in this multi-function machine. It seems like it should work like a dream and has great features, but there are 2 major problems with it that make me regret the purchase.
Summary: Wow. What an agonizing setup experience. Poor instructions. Software doesn't cue or prompt correctly if it doesn't like your network/firewall settings. If you work in IT, you'll be fine after a few agonizing moments/hours. If not, just don't buy it. Update: Four hours and problem solved.
Summary: The print quality is mediocre. I've seen white streaks through text. Fine quality helps but is sloooooow. My main gripe is printing envelopes. The printer doesn't have a rear paper holder so you have to take out all your paper, put in one envelope, print, then replace the paper.
Summary: Let's just say you want to print something quickly before leaving the house... be prepared to wait about two minutes before the first sheet comes out. The good news is that it's still slow, but not painstakingly slow, once it's warmed up.
