Summary: DO NOT buy this printer. In fact, don't buy ANY Epson printers anymore. It does not grab paper like it should. Also the greedy pigs at Epson have made it so third party ink DOES NOT WORK in the printer. I'm considering SUING them in small claims court because I'm so angry right now. Bought the third party ink for a back up but cannot use it now... WA$TED!!!
Summary: The ink refills are exorbitant in cost and Epson makes it impossible to use generic ink. I HATE THIS PRINTER because of the high ink cost. I'm ditching it and getting one that can use cheap[er] ink. Otherwise, the printer functioned very well.
Summary: I bought this printer because of the ability to print double sided pages and for printing pictures. The double-sided printing feature worked for about 100 pages then started to jam every time I selected that feature. The printing is not high quality. You can't print more than 3 pages at a time, and you can only print one picture at a time from the port on the front of the unit. This was a waste of money.
Summary: I have set up this printer on 3 different laptops to print through wireless; each of them worked the first day after setting it up, then it quit working and we kept getting 'no printer connection' errors with no resolution to the problem.
Pros: Prints and scans when connected through USB
Cons: Have never been able to get consistent wi-fi connection to print from any of our computers...works first day and then that's it. Ink is EXPENSIVE and doesn't go far. Cannot install new driver(s) for Lion.
Summary: purchased an EPSON workforce635 in Aug 28 2011. After about 8 months I started having problems with the printer. I called EPSON about the problems. I was told that I had to take it to an authorized repair shop. The nearest authorized shop was a 6 1/2 hr. round trip for me. I would have had to make that trip to drop it off and again to pick it up after it was fixed.
Pros: It was a nice scanner while it worked, Scanned Photos well.
Cons: Does not work for long. Horrible Customer Service, Bad warranty paramaters. Poor warranty compliance.
