Summary: Good printer, good printer. Didn't need a scanner, have a Canon one. Don't need a fax, but may be useful some time; who knows? However, used this thing ONCE to copy, and it 1) took forever, and 2) copied EVERY color, so I determined it was going to use more ink that the document copy would be worth,...

Summary: I've been using the Workforce 520 printer for just over 2 months now. It is easy to use and produces clear documents. The fax and scanner are also easy to use. The menu and buttons are very user-friendly and intuitive.
Summary: Opened it and set it up - it ate my pages - called tech support and they said they're sending me a replacement right away. I asked them to send 2-day expedited and they did. So no complaints with Epson company - I appreciate their immediate no BS response to my issue.
Summary: Haven't had it long enough to judge ink consumption but I have to say not looking forward to the cost of having to buy replacement cartridges. But it's either the up front cost of buying a laser printer or buying the cartridges for the ink jet style printer.

Summary: You've read the other reviews and, yes, this is a pretty noisy printer. It's not as bad as printers were ten years ago, but It's a lot noisier than the little Canon single function that it replaced. Still, it's not noisy enough to get rid of.
so far so good, extremely easy set-up, a little loud

Summary: This is an early review so I'll come back and update it after longer-term use, especially with regard to ink usage and durability. But so far so good. Out of the box the wireless printer (you can also use USB or ethernet) meshed with complete ease with my home network (I use an Airport dual-band,...
Summary: No question, this printer produces great prints, I am delighted with that aspect of it. It does have some drawbacks, its pretty noisy, but whatever it does, it does it quickly. Difficulty in inserting the paper in the rear, I am getting the hang of it now, the scans that print out are outrageously...
