Not Worth A Star

Gamergirl, Amazon
18 November 2014
  • Summary: wish i could give a no star rating! This printer HAS been great for the last year? Up until last month, when I've needed it the most of course, its been a pile of you know what. From the beginning it does go through ink rather fast but its pretty cheap so i wasn't THAT concerned. That and it gives a "low ink" sign on my computer WELL before its actually out so it gave me time to fix it. However, NOW Not only does it EAT ink, it doesn't print STRAIGHT!

Avoid at all costs!

Amazon Customer, Amazon
17 November 2014
  • Summary: Absolute piece of junk. Please avoid Epson at all costs. This is an ink guzzling garbage can. On print number 100 or so, completely stopped printing, even with a new ink cartridge. This is low end, poorly made, and nothing but a nightmare. Cheap crap from a cheap company. Can you tell I'm upset? Epson deserves none of your business.

Pro's and Cons

Mr. Dbs, Amazon
28 September 2014
  • Summary: Has its plusses & minuses. On the plus side, it was relatively cheap when I bought it to replace my old printer. On the minus side, the fax hook-up has never worked, and Epson has not been able to tell me how to fix it. Using the same phone line as the old printer, I hear the phone "ring", then there's a short while in between, and finally an ending "beep", as if the transmission has completed.

Very disappointing for everyday usage

kms2cute, Amazon
26 June 2014
  • Summary: I bought this printer for my home office. I use it primarily for printing odds and ends, and sometimes for crafting type projects on cardstock. From day one I had trouble with the wireless printing working consistency. One day it works, the next day it doesn't. I don't even attempt to print wirelessly anymore.

Worst printer buy of my life

josh p, Amazon
3 May 2014
  • Summary: Simply put it rarely works right the first time. Scans often don't complete. It often doesn't accept ink replacement cartridges. Even ones made by Epson. Epson should be ashamed of themselves. Buy anything else.

I've used this printer for a year.

R.Davidson, Amazon
18 August 2013
  • Summary: It's been through 2 moves, and it is still kicking. It's the best printer I've ever owned. Wireless setup is easy. I've changed the cartridge 2 times, and that's easy too. I have never once had a problem with this printer. I cant believe the low score it has here.

Good printer, basic functionality

andyboy, Amazon
29 July 2013
  • Summary: I've had this printer for about a year, use it to print a couple pages and scan a few items per month. Works great. High quality scanner, reasonably fast printer. Never had an issue with paper jamming. Easy to setup on home network. Not the highest end printer for the price it works well.

"Cheap" in the worst sense of the word

Biotech Sales Guy, Amazon
4 June 2013
  • Summary: I bought this printer 6 months ago. After about a month using it, I realized I made a mistake by purchasing it. Where to begin... 1. Print quality a very poor. Printouts are crooked (consistently). 2. Drinks ink! 3. When it detects it is low on ink, YOU CANNOT PRINT. So, you had better have some spare ink cartridges handy. Otherwise, you'll have a nice, big $75 brick on your desk until you replace the cartridges. In summary, it's junk.
