If I Had a Dime for Each Minute I Spent Dealing With These Problems....
22 August 2014
Summary: Bought from Target on 8/13/2013 ($120). It was used to print Xmas cards and a few other documents. Anyone who knows me knows that I use many other tools to save things I need and rarely print anything unless it's something I have to sign and scan in or snail mail - and that's rare too. In July 2014, the printer developed a paper jam that couldn't be cleared.
Excerpt: I was in the market for an all-in-one to replace a very old Lexmark unit. After much searching, I chose the Epson WorkForce WF-3520 because it had all of the features I was looking for. I bought it on-sale at Staples. 1. The unit takes very little time to warm up and be operational. Same with powering down. 2. I prefer paper feeding from a tray rather than being stacked.
Excerpt: I purchased this device on the advice of a friend of mine who already owns one hooked up to his Mac. Easy set up, seems to work well. Haven't yet tested all the features. I like that it is wireless. It seems like a good all-around workhorse for a graphic designer. the machine is a good value, and when I purchased it on sale, it was a steal. Like all ink jets, the cost of toner is prohibitive.
