Summary: I love this printer! I bought it about 3 weeks ago.. Setup was easy. It is so fast in copying and printing. I have not used the fax yet. No comparison with my old hp. Very happy with it so far.
Excerpt: I purchased this all-in-one Epson printer to be my daily utility printer after years and years of using the other leading brand and not being satisfied. This Epson printer is quicker at printing duplex, which I use as the default to save paper. It prints on side one, waits about 2 seconds for the ink to dry, then pulls the paper back in and prints on the second side - no smearing. My previous printers had to let the ink dry on the first side for 20 seconds.
Excerpt: Purchased this printer because I recently purchased the WF-3530, wanted a printer that used the same ink and the WF-3530 is not available at Staples, where I like to purchase my office supplies. It was very challenging to connect to my Lenovo computer which runs Windows 8, which I found surprising because the WF-3530 connected instantaneously with no problems. I installed the 3520 several times, gave up, turned my computer off when it wouldn't recognize the printer.
Excerpt: The Epson Workforce wk-3520 printer was easy to install on all my computers. It's wonderful being in the 21st century. I had an HP previously that they are fading out the ink, so I needed to get something. I picked the epson because the resolution of print was better than the comparable model for the HP. I have had bad Epson's and Hp's in the past, and good ones, so I truly believe that you can just never tell. Get what specs you like and hope for the best.
Excerpt: Printer is great. Wish the scanner was a little faster and that you didnt have to fan the pages to have them scan. Other than that it worked great for faxing, printing, scanning and copying. Not made for printing good quality photo's but if you just want a photo to show someone it is good.
Excerpt: I replaced an inexpensive HP printer with this new Epson WF 3520 to upgrade my scanning and printing capablity for my genealogy photographs. So far the printer is working as advertised and produces crisp photographs as well as crisp, readable text. It is used in a home group along with a b & w laser printer for most text applications. Switching between the two is simple and we are able to save on paper and ink with this combination.
Excerpt: Product was easy to install, very well packaged. I do have a problem when receiving a fax. I have a cable supplied telephone system. No matter how I confiquire it will not auto answer, the fax will not pickup the call. The printer documentation does state that with a cable based phone system it may not respond correctly. I also spoke to my cable company. If I want this to work I will have to disable the voicemail feature.
Excerpt: I purchased the Epson WF-3520 approximately 2 weeks ago. Initial setup was quick, easy, and flawless. I performed a portion of the setup using the keypad/touchscreen on the printer, rather than using a USB cable to a computer. No problems - it went exceptionally well using that method. I was able to install the printer software on 3 networked computers (Windows 7 - one 32 bit version and two 64 bit versions) with no difficulty or error messages.
