Summary: I have had to install and reinstall this printer too many times to keep it working. Every time the power fails (unfortunately for me the plug ins for this computer area are easily disconnected) it requires a full reinstall. It also fails if the internet goes down for any reason.
Summary: Worked great when I first got it, But it slowed down appreciably and I have to keep disabling my router and reinstalling it to make the printer work. Very disappointed. Talking to tech support was difficult because I couldn't understand their English. Frustrating. I had an Epson Stylus for years and loved it. No problems with it at all which is why I bought another Epson.
Summary: Good quality printer. Wireless set-up was easy. Print quality and speed is above average. Scanner works well. Paper trays are large, load both and forget about them for quit a while. Seems to use more ink than previous Epson printer. Bought this printer when previous Epson printer failed due to improper paper jam removal and had just purchased ink cartridges for it. The old cartridges would not fit the new machine.
Summary: I bought this printer a few months ago and since then it has been great with a few exceptions. One is that when faxing there are sooooo many communication errors it is impossible sometimes to get things that I need and when they do the people on the other end have sent them through so many times that I get a stack of the same fax!!! The other issue is that it doesn't seem to recognize a few things like wireless and multi page scanning.
Summary: the printer WF-3540 is a good printer that I enjoy using it regularly. However there is one problem I can't figure out. Any time I print something from my computer the printer always uses tray # 1 for the paper. That is where I print photos from so I have to remove the photo paper and replace it every time I just want to print a sheet of paper. Why doesn't it take paper from tray # 2 like the instructions say?
Summary: Just set up a Workforce 3540. Seems like it works fine. After registering the printer, I received an e-mail from Epson with a 10% discount code for their online store. I thought I'd get extra ink for the new printer only to learn at checkout that the discount code didn't work. After scratching my head over it I noticed deep in the fine print that the discount doesn't apply to ink.
Summary: I purchased this printer because of its capabilities and looked forward to being able to put an odd sized paper in the second cassette and being able to leave it in there for a frequent job I do. But they built it so that anything other than letter size and a4 have to go in cassette one. The problem with this is that cassette one is the default cassette and there is no setting to make cassette two the default.
