VagirlFriday

VAgirlFriday, Epson

  • Summary: My faithful All-in-One printer gave out after several years of good service. Upon studying other printers, I decided on this one because it will print on 2 sides or one side and has two paper trays. I have not had time to use it, as I've just installed it, but am looking forward to many years of satisfied printing and also creating photo colored flyers for our art business.

User Review

  • Summary: Wish I'd known ahead of time that you can only put one sheet at a time in the rear feeder. Also has a difficult feeding mechanism in rear feeder that makes it quite awkward to load, and thus misfeeds a lot.

Scanner installation issues

printersshouldbeeasier, Epson

  • Summary: Always loved Epson printers and had them for years - replaced an nx515 and then used to have a huge stylus that was great. All kinds of problems installing a 3540 - workforce - it took my wife and I several hours and calls to product support to get it working on her computer - something about windows 7 1068 imaging twain error - that is too much for me to handle.

about your ink

mm, Epson
23 June 2014
  • Summary: The printer we bought has ink that comes with it but after only printing 7 or so pages , some of the ink is empty already. These cartridges are expensive and therefore should be replaced as who knows how long this printer has been on the shelf. I would just want your product review people to know about this thank you Michael Marciniak.

Software mistake

Fred, Epson
7 May 2014
  • Summary: This would be a great printer but the software is all wrong. The cassettes are all wrong. The main cassette should have the 8 and half by 11 paper in it and the number 2 cassette should be for photos and envelopes. This is a big problem because you have to be changing back and forth all the time. I think that it is a very poor setup! This would be a great printer with a few software changes. There needs to be a software control panel on the desktop.

Not as good as my last epson

Not tech savvy, Epson
30 April 2014
  • Summary: I decided to upgrade my printer to one that is AirPrint . My previous printer was an epson so decided to stick with that brand since I had no problems with it. I have both macs and pc's to print from, but it has to be connected to my mac in order for the computer to recognize the scanner.
