Summary: Instructions for wifi set up, scanning, too difficult to follow. Not even any link to online assistance. Everything was too hard to find solutions to. Just going to the User Guide was a daunting task!!!
Summary: After I purchased the WF-3540 for all the great features and benefits, I found out that all those great features and benefits were ONLY for the Windows users. The 2 trays do not change when 1 is empty, 2 sided printing only works on windows PC's, and more.
Summary: I had great hope for this printer. I have wanted a printer that could hold two different papers. The WF-3540 either smudges my envelopes or it tears them up. The printer does not remember where the envelopes are. I am constantly resetting my printing preferences. I have found that there are several places where you must reset your preferences. I am not happy.
Summary: This printer has clogging problems of the heads unless you print a minimum of once per week and if you are not going to print weekly you need to pack the ink cartridges away in news paper. Problem is they do not let you know this until after your heads are clogged.
Summary: I've had this printer over a year. It was easy to setup. Printing and scanning worked great... for awhile. I now have to completely reinstall all the software and drivers every few days to weeks to print wirelessly, and cannot get the scanning to work any more at all. All seems fine, printer is online, able to ping, status page from the physical interface prints, etc., but when a test print or regular job is sent to the device, nothing.

Summary: bought it mainly for ADF duplex fearture. however - could not manage more than few pages before jams and stops. cuation: can only scan via ADF A4 pages - nothing smaller in size, and nothing remotely wider even by 1mm. returned and bought HP OfficeJet Pro 8600 plus, which is really good and does not have the issues of Epson.
