Summary: I bought this printer as I was attracted by all the features and by the fact that it works wirelessly. The printer worked fine for a few months and now it has stopped printing black. I have read many reviews over the internet and the same seems to happen to a lot of other people. There is a lot of advice on the web on how to clean the printer's nozzles (as this seems the problem that stops the printer from printing), but I have also read reviews from people who tried...
Summary: I found it quite difficult to set up the wifi and it worked for a while. A few months later however I was no longer able to print wirelessly. Right now (4 years later) I cannot print in black. From the reviews I've seen these two problems keep recurrring. To get an engineer out to look at it will cost around £100.00! So on the whole I am not happy with the product.
Cannot print only in black without colour cartridges

Summary: The big problem with this printer, and I'm assuming all Epson printer models is that you cannot print only in black if any of the the colour cartridges are empty. The printer demands that the colour cartridges are replaced before it will print, even if all you want to do is print a standard black-on-white page. Why this would make sense to Epson is beyond mystery. I can only assume this is solely to drum up sales on cartridges.
Summary: I have had this printer for over a year now. (none heavy use). It has been great until now. I am having the issue of it not printing black. I have done EVERYTHING to try and solve this issue. I have done some extensive research regarding this Print head and cartridge issue and have found it to be more common than it should be. I would not be upset if i had had normal usage out of the device - but i have not had heavy use of it.
Summary: This was a pretty good printer, good quality printing. The machine now seems a little bulky compared to the newer models coming out. After two and a half years though the black stopped printing and no amount of its head cleaning, nozzle checking would correct it so I just replaced it. These all sell pretty cheaply these days as the money is being made on the ink so I guess I got what I paid for.
Absolute rubbish - do not buy - not fit for the purpose

Summary: Bought mine in October 2009 and have had exactly the same print problems as every one else. It has cost a fortune in cartridges, but most importantly - the black ink cartridge will not print and I am fed up of how much time I have spent trying to get it to print an important document that I need now!!!! Epson should be reported to trading standards for selling shoddy, substandard goods that break down just outside the guarantee. DO NOT BUY THIS PRINTER.
Summary: This was my first Epson,,, and my last. After two years' very light usage, the black print suddenly went very patchy. Like other reviewers, I tried repeated head cleaning and changed black cartridge - then it kept demanding new colour cartridges (which were all working) in turn. The problem with the black print remained. I contacted Epson support, who suggested I took the printer to the nearest repair centre 150 miles plus two ferries away!
Summary: Purchased printer in April-2009 to replace separate units with all-in-one to save on space at home, very easy to setup and currently on 4th set of colour cartridges (5th set purchased last month) at the time everything was working until today as Magenta stopped working in the middle of printing some documents I look after priners as part of my job so I ran through the usual fault testing (nozzle check/clean heads/replace cartridge etc, etc) but still nothing, since the...
Summary: Hi, If like most, you find yourself printing on a regular basis then this is a fine purchase. If like myself however you may go a few weeks in between printing then avoid this as you would an angry brown bear who hasn't eaten for a fortnight, why? If you leave this for up to 3 weeks at a time between printing you will note that the black just stops working properly, in such a way that you print a page of text and the output contains huge white spaces where text is...
