works surprisingly well - although the wifi connectivity is annoying

Summary: love the technical capabilities of this device - almost everything works well. the only thing that doesnt is the wifi connectivity which is slow and not very effective. i dont think it likes having a different subnet ip address every time it is turned on ( depending on the number of devices i have connected at any time ) because i frequently have to reinstall the printer drivers on the PC before it will find the printer and recognise it as online.
Good printer, but awkward paper tray and plasticky

Summary: Epson Stylus SX525WD I bought this PSC in January 11. I'm very pleased with the print quality, ease of replacing inks, and speed of printing. But, oh, it's such poor quality build. The plastic paper tray is so flimsy, and so awkward to pull out. It's not smooth like my old HP printer. It judders out and judders back. Inks are quite expensive, but seem to last a long time. The onscreen instructions are good, photo printing seems more complicated than on my HP.
Summary: I've had this printer for about a month now and it's not missed a beat. I've used it extensively for printing so that's my main frame of reference for you here. I think for the price it's excellent value for money. The software bundled with it is good even though it takes an age to install. The WiFi setup was painless, worked first time and hasn't missed a beat.
Summary: I wanted this printer for high quality, quick photo printing. It's very quick, the borderless print option works nicely and it is very easy to set up, for the wirelss network, just follow the instructions. The print colour is perhaps a little darker than it should be, but for the price it's well worth it! Note: duplex printing is not available on photo paper, even if it is double sided photo paper, just something to be aware of.
Summary: Impressive once you manage to load it onto your PC - not the easiest instruction manual. Printing is fussy, paper needs to be loaded just so otherwise it will chew your paper up causing usual blockages etc.
Summary: Great little printer, great price. Slightly noisy as mentioned by others, but not obtrusive. Easy to set up and use, like the paper being held within the printer rather than poking out the top. The printer, copier, scanner function combined with duplex ability in a small printer is very useful in a home environment. Have not used the Wifi feature yet as hard wired to a desktop, and can not comment on the ink useage as I have not had it long enough.
Summary: I bought this to replace my aged Epson R200 which started sending error messages that it was past its useful life. I didn't really want an all in one since I already had a scanner and copier but I did want wifi and duplex which this has. Set up was reasonably easy on my network (I have problems with very thick walls so I have various repeaters dotted around and this makes configuring anything new on the network tricky - so I put any minor difficulties on this score down...
Summary: i bought this really for my daughters homework. its great. had to read set up instuctions a couple of times but the step by step guide on the computer was easier to follow,. use the cd to set up. not tried the photos yet but scanning was easy and the printing lovely on all the sizes we have tried.Doesnt do A5. inks are also easy to get to and insert.i would certainly give the ok for this printer. a bargain!!
Summary: After owning a mixture of HP deskjets and laserjets over the years we thought we would try this after the great reviews and have not been disappointed. Setup was very easy and connected to our wireless network within minutes. The screen is a great addition as makes navigation a breeze.
