Excerpt: This product is very good for £100 as it has a scanner which can cost quite a bit of money to buy on it's own, it works as a photocopier which was a surprise for me and it is a printer. The product is wifi so you only need one per household and if you have a lot of peope wanting to use the same printer at once it means everyone can do it from different computers saving you a massive headache.
Excellent multifunction printer, which prints the fastest I have ever seen an inkjet print!

Excerpt: I bought this printer from Amazon as a replacement to a cheap (useless) HP all in one. I wanted it to primarily print lecture notes, as well as scan the odd document in. The fact it was wireless was a bonus, to be honest. Set up was easy, given the included driver installation and driver setup CD. Then once the printer has joined your wireless network, you are free to print.
Excerpt: I've always struggled with printers - either the paper getting stuck or the colour ink being of poor quality or smudging of the ink. Well I haven't experienced any of these problems with this printer! I'm finally printer satisfied!! It was relatively easy to set up and the instructions were clear on how to get the Wireless up and running - no more printer cables getting in the way!
Summary: I thought long and hard about getting this printer, there are excellent reviews and it is at a good price but people, it appears were having trouble getting it to work with windows 7, well I decided to give it ago, the worst that could happen is I would have to send it back. Prior to unpacking my new printer I went to the epson website and downloaded the latest driver and epson scan, just type into Google (Drivers for the Epson Stylus SX515W) open the drivers and...
Excerpt: I was bought this printer by my parents about seven months ago, and I love it. The printer I was using before I got my Epson was terrible. It never printed anything straight and some times 'chewed' up my work, but this is probably because it was quite old. So I didn't have a clue what kind of printer that I wanted, but I defiantly knew that I wanted it to have a scanner and photocopier.
Summary: We had an Epson Stylus standard Inkjet printer about 10/15 years ago and it was fantastic, budget printers back then didn't have the disposal appeal they have these days! The printer years ago never let us down, installing Drivers onto Windows 98 was straight forward using a Parallel connection! Ever since then for our needs I've been picking up second hand Laser units and using my work printers as our printing demands have always been low.
Excerpt: During the middle of March, after my hated Hewlett Packard printer finally bit the dust (hurrah), I decided to purchase another Epson Printer. What made me defect from what had been a brand I had tried and trusted for many years, might you ask? Well, one reason was the price, It was on offer at an unbelievably low price. Reason number two was availability. I saw the bargain in the store, and just paid for it without a second thought. I hated that printer with a passion.
Excerpt: just bought one of these printers at the bargain price of £52.95(free p&p) from amazon,i think its gone up again now, anyway what a great piece of kit,i had it installed and working on 3 laptops with in an hour,it prints at a good speed and the pictures come out really good,i have read other reviews saying the machine is a bit noisey, but compared to the lexmark all in one i was using its very quite, also the inks are so cheap compared to others, they can be found on ebay...
Summary: I was nearly put off buying an Epson SX515W due to the reviews on here that mentioned problems when hooking up via Windows 7. I can confirm that updated drivers are now available via epson.co.uk (support) Just put in the printer name and confirm your operating system then download Driver and EPSON Scan software. I now have a completely free standing printer/scanner that is fed from 2 desktops and 2 laptops all using wireless.
Summary: After researching a lot for our first printer I settled on this mainly for 1)the build quality, which is better I think than some other well know big brands,2)for the wi-fi 3)for functionality and 4) individual inks (you get a full set of inks with the printer, unlike the others). You certainly pay a premium for wi-fi but for us its worth it and the installation on Vista was straightforward and worked first time, again this is a problem area for many other printers i had...
