Summary: This printer arrived 5 days ago, and I very quickly got it wirelessly linked to Computer 1 of 3 (PC Windows XP). Test print showed everything was fine. I was very impressed with the print quality (for the price band). Next step was to connect to Computer 2 (laptop Windows XP). Again, brilliant, with no hitches at all. Test printing again showed everything was fine. Final stage was to connect to Computer 3 (laptop Windows Home 7). And that's where all my problems started!
Summary: I've had this printer for a few months now, and it prints very well and the wireless wasn't too bad to set up. However, right now it's thesis-writing time, submission date imminent and I need to scan things like Pooh Bear needs honey. HOWEVER. My red ink cartridge is a tad on the empty side, and when I turn on the printer it insists I change the ink cartridge. There is no "No thanks, I just want to scan" button.
Summary: I purchased this off the back of some positive proffessional reviews that claimed that it was one of the more cheaper all-in-ones to run. I had it installed for all of six months in a (very) small office environment of just two PCs, and the longevity of the ink was the poorest I have ever seen. Print quality is relatively good, but no match for Canon's Pixma range.
