Summary: I have had this printer for 3 years and have heavily relied on it throughout university, whether using it to scan or print, and I have found that it is a cheap printer to run and does the job perfectly. Pros: Great price (bought it for under £50). Easy to use. Not too expensive to run. Easy to transport (although not the smallest printer). Prints microsoft word documents in black and white and in colour absolutely fine.
Summary: I ordered this printer/scanner to save money versus the high printing fees at my university. Given the very affordable price, I feel like I have achieved this goal. The printer itself is fairly good, but has a few faults and idiosyncrasies that wear your patience thin at times. Nevertheless, I do not want to seem like a negative reviewer as I do like the product on the whole.
Epson Stylus SX215: Great printer even better price
6 September 2012
Summary: When our printer gave up the ghost just before Christmas, I decided to have a look for another Epson all-in-one to replace it with. I've already got the software installed on my computer, and to be honest I just don't like to change technology brands unless I have to! I'm comfortable with Epson, so I wanted to stay with Epson.
Summary: The Epson Stylus sx210 is a very convenient all in one multi purpose printer which allows you to print, scan and copy. I had another HP printer all in one before but it wasn't as nice looking as this one and was bulkier. I got this one from my university for free, however I have seen that the price is very low for what it does and how easy it is to make it work. Its price is around 40 to 50 pounds.
Pros: stylish, easy to use
Cons: changing the cartridges might be confusing, it does not print if an
Summary: What is the point in having seperate device for printing, scanning and photocopying, when there are models like the Epson Stylus SX215 available to buy. An all in one printer is brilliant, it compacts all three devices into one, and not only that, it also compacts the price. For £60, you get all three, rather than paying probably the same for each individual product.
Summary: I have had many printers over the years, some good some bad, some big some small, and in my personal experience, I would say that the Epson Stylus SX215 All-in-One printer ranks towards the top end of the range. When looking to upgrade to computer device such as a printer, I tend not to shift manufacture, for example, I have had countless Epson printers over the years and have found that they produce a high standard of printers, but saying that I have very little to...
Pros: Has a scanner and photocopier as well as a printer
Summary: I bought this printer when I got fed up of my Hewlett Packard (don't get me started). I needed a cheap but robust all in one printer, and this fit the bill. Very reasonably priced at £40 from Amazon, this was cheap but cheerful and definitely what I needed. I wasn't about to pay ridiculous amounts of money for a printer as I really don't use it often enough to justify it. Really all I use it for is letters and the occasional print out of a bill for example.
Summary: Using my laptop and printer together always gives me the means to make an additional copy but there is always the time when you need a copy of something sent to you in the post. This is spot on for the job. SETUP: This has to be one of the easiet setups that I have ever done. It took not a great deal more that the electric power and a USB lead. The beauty of this machine however is that it is a stan a lone unit that does not rely on connection to a computer to use it.
Pros: Easy connection and setup. Good quality document printing, copies, enlarges and scans
