Good for home and SMALL business, no good for photos or larger businesses

Sallerina84, Dooyoo
9 January 2012
  • Excerpt: This printer is everything you need in one, if for the home or a small business. It scans, photocopies and prints in colour or black and white. The ink is relatively inexpensive, costing £7-8 per cartridge, but does not last very long in an office environment.

wouldnt recommend to anyone wanting a photo printer.

  • Excerpt: This Epson all-in one printer is a good all rounder scanner and printer but there are better products available on the market now. I have seen better models and better printers from hp. I bought this a year ago as it was a cheaper alternative to the hp all in one printer.

Decent for low quality printing

stuartp15, Dooyoo
21 October 2011
  • Excerpt: I have had this printer for around two years. It is used for general printing in the home and also for some business printing. The quality is average at best. The colour is often not sharp and if printing any images these can often come and seem to be faded.

Very frustrating only just ok

ygorlan "Anned", Amazon
12 February 2011
  • Summary: I have now had this printer for over 6 months and my main problem is the fact that you have to replace all the cartridges even if one coloured one may be empty and you need to print with black. You can't even do a draft if one of the coloured cartridges is empty.

Epson Stylus SX 215 All in One Printer, Updated review

Andy, Amazon
13 November 2010
  • Summary: Delivery was very prompt. Speedy installation once I had figured out how to advance the cartridge carriage to insert the cartridges! Paper loads from the top which makes it difficult to insert if your printer is on a desk shelf and you are a disabled pensioner like me and it needs to be put in very...

  • Excerpt: Very good printer for the price. The good stuff: This printer has a very low price and is economical run. I like the seperate cartridges for each colour which prevents waste. It's easy to use, and with its lcd screen, you dont even have to own a computer.

Noise

Kevin Smith, Amazon
7 March 2010
  • Summary: This was my 3rd! 1st made horrible clunking when feeding paper, 2nd never worked, 3rd same as 1st so just kept it! That's what it does. Still good though, cheap ink. Shame about the feed noise but?

Some Reservations

Victor Meldrew "John", Amazon
6 December 2009
  • Summary: Print quality for text and photos is very good. Having replaced a Lexmark there are a few items I now miss: Printer does not start up automatically when a print job is ordered. Printer does not switch off automatically with the computer.

No Compact Flash or Pictbridge

Isaac, Amazon
7 October 2009
  • Summary: I was originally going to buy the SX200 having read favourable reviews but Amazon showed this as a newer product - with no reviews yet! Just bought this multifunction printer and printing, scanning and copying all perform well. Copying is especially impressive as it doesn't require the PC to be on.
