Summary: After our last printer giving up the ghost in the middle of me printing out out my dissertation I ordered my father to rush out and grab me a new one since I had literally been begging him to get a new one for our house computer since the last one would miss out half a page every 3rd page and jam every ten pages or so which was very frustrating I was ready to push the bloody thing out the window and kick it.
Pros: continual efficiency for as long as we have had it
Summary: I have had this printer for 3 years and have heavily relied on it throughout university, whether using it to scan or print, and I have found that it is a cheap printer to run and does the job perfectly. Pros: Great price (bought it for under £50). Easy to use. Not too expensive to run. Easy to transport (although not the smallest printer). Prints microsoft word documents in black and white and in colour absolutely fine.
Summary: I normally used the genuine Epson inks, but when I had a big job to do for my church over Christmas, and because I could not afford the genuine inks at the time (I am a pensioner), I bought a good quality replacement ink. Unfortunately when it came to replacing two of the now empty cartridges, the printer rejected them, and also the genuine article which I had already bought to replace the non genuine inks when they were finished.
Summary: I ordered this printer/scanner to save money versus the high printing fees at my university. Given the very affordable price, I feel like I have achieved this goal. The printer itself is fairly good, but has a few faults and idiosyncrasies that wear your patience thin at times. Nevertheless, I do not want to seem like a negative reviewer as I do like the product on the whole.
